I just got a pair of ar5's and I am really anxious to use them but I don't know yet. I'm 5'7' and they are 160's. I don't think they will be too short. anyways, they are the old green kinds but brand new. tell me everything good and bad about the older armada's if you've skied them. do you take them all over the mountain or jus park? stuff like that

well first off i would have got 170's but w/e

They are a kick ass ski except for chipping and scratching.Cuts ice, floats in pow,AWESOME moguls and awesome pop..also look in the review section and previous posts on them..but ya they are fucking awesome

I have the 05 Ar5s 180cm. if your 5 7 I think 160 is too short remember twins have less edge on the snow then reg skis. my friend is 5 8 and skis 171 and he likes smaller skis. But ar5s are great all mountain and rule the park older models tend to chip alot not real important but they fixed that for 2005

170's? i got them at the ski swap for cheap and i figured they would be okay at 160. I'm not very tall but my salomons were 165's so i hope they won't be too short because that would really suck

Just rode mine today, and they are the sickest ski ever. Huge pop and i couldnt mess up a rail no matter what i did. Super stable and they carved pretty nicely too

the time i tried them in a 170, they felt really weird because their flex pattern is so much stiffer in the tail then it is in the tip

depending on my mood, you might get a nice thoughtful responce that might make sense, or you might get complete jibberish that is not wise to even read. good luck

'do or do not. there is no try.'-yoda

in anceint times, people tied up a goat in the the town square and blamed it for all their problems. then they killed it, and thats where we get scapegoat from

i like mine alot, way better than the 1080's i used to ski on. i'm 5'11' on 176's and i find it difficult to tail butter but that will soon come with practice. they started to delaminate just a little bit my first day on the hill, but they stopped that and i haven't had any probs since. i think they did a good job in fixing last years problems.

11-01-04, the saddest day in skiing
