Tele Advice

So a buddy and I are looking to get into telemark. We don't know too much and I was wondering if someone with experience could give some advice. Obviously the typical tele ski is rather thin and directional but how would something more all mountain and wider do? Also, anything to keep in mind when looking at bindings? We'll still be alpine/AT like 95% of the time so we'll probly just go with whatever we can find cheap but some more knowledge would be nice.

Skis do not affect anything with tele. Treat them as you would any other ski. I thought the best bindings were 22 Designs. Boots are a toss up.

My dad has telemarked to this day and lives by the scarpa T series boots. As for bindings rottefella makes some dope tele bindings but honestly anything light will do. As for skis anything works just ride what your feel most comfy
