Teens responsibilities and ways they contribute to Society

Can anyone list some important responsibilities teens have or how teens contribute to society. I have to write an essay on it tommorow but I can't really think of much.
 
teen resposiblitie

- make it so by the year 2010 marijuana is legal.

- get rid of "money" and instate a trade/ barter system

- get rid of "time" and do what ever the fuck you want

- out law conventional school, so only those who know education is important , can educate them selves as they see fit, the ones that do nothing will die out. bring back a more pure version of survival of the fittest.

-firebomb gas stations, but before, we actually have to get our shit together and invent alternate fuel.
 
oh and we need better music, the hip hop is legit right now, but all this new MTV shit sucks dick.
 
teens stimulate the economy by spending a LOT of their parents money. as for social responsibilities they go to school so they can replace all the workers who will get old and die.
 
we have the responsibilty to promote drinking and drug use..... we need to be creative and inovative and find new ways of doing our own thing.
 
well personally im going to distribute as many psychadelic drugs as i can.

seemed to work for the 60's

I should have known better than to ask on NS. The only legit post was the one on future leaders. I'm thinking of going on with the responsibilities instead of contributions. I've got:

Babysitting younger siblings (especially for single parents)

Cleaning/chores for parents who work alot

I just need a good third point.

Teens as a generation are society. In a few years we are the world. We should have a far greater influence than we do.

We contribute to the economy, peole buy for us, and we buy

we are fast becoming one of the groups advertised to the most

we have to fix the mistakes of this generation

we define the next big thing. music and the arts, TV, Radio, Internet are all largely influenced by us

what kind of shit you want like things we could do? such as help sick kids with charities and sadd chapters or what
 
the responsibility of teens is to suck off the teet of society until it turns its back and the "milk" stops flowing and then we have to resort to cannibalism and vertical and horizontal integrations to survive in thsi materialistic world
 
hey im not fucking around... that would actually make this world better. we need to act quickly and progressivly.
 
Wow, I that's awsome. I think I'm gonna do that stuff. I don't think my teacher would like me telling her our responsibilties are to legalize weed and distribute drugs.
 
MONEY

teenagers spend a lot of money in coffee shops and surf shops and hollister/american eagle.
 
ok heres some shit that just popped in upstairs...

We get things changed, if there is a problem with our generation, somebody else fixes the problem or at least tries, so it stops happening

We are a large number, obviously there are a lot of us which gives us the power to affect elections and other things if we choose

we have different views that we can make public about issues because we see things from a perspective others do not

Teen potheads contributions to a society vs a budhhist monk

1. Economy:

-Teens with parents money completely create new industry whereever they walk. Consumer whores, constantly putting money back into the economy, which in turn creates more jobs to meet this demand. Encourages mcdonalds to release cheaper more easily produced burger and things of that nature.

-He eats nothing, wears a blanket and doesnt buy a sports car. Economy means nothing to this guy. Ask for donations, and eat a lot of what they make. Economy says thanks, no go out an buy a house for a change

-edge-Teenagers.

Health

-the teen pothead has on average of 1.67 STDs, and will pbly get more. They smoke, Do E sometime, drink sometimes, do other chemicals and a combination just like me. Pregnant all the time, wanting birth medication, getting in car accidents drains our healthcare.

-Buddhist, I've seen many go up there and never return. If they died, can you at least no they have, for official documents? Healthcare isnt a problam because its non-existent. Whatever you do, dont shit in the water supply for your own sake, i dont have to pay for anything.

-edge-buddhists

National Defense

-teen potheads are middle class generally, who may go on to university, and are too lazy to go to servie for their country, allthought their unofficial excuse is "because i dont believe in war, man"

-Buddhists simply dont do war. They dont blow shit up, they dont fuck things, and they will never know the power of a big mac for the rest of their lives.

Education

-potheads will skip school, therefore contribute nothing, but their own relevations that the buddhist way of life is the best, but they wont actually do anything about it.

-Buddhists have places of learning, and understanding ourselves and nirvana, but you cant really disarm a nuke with that kind of knowledge.

let me tell you, there is a resurgence of the same energy that there was in the 60's here in Boulder and in many other places across the country. It is going to spread...SPREAD SPREAD SPREAD LIKE WILDFIRE!!! It is a reaction to the conservative family values of the 90's, just like the 60's were a reaction to the conservative family values of the 50's. What we are about to experience will make the 60's and 70's look like the 50's. Fuck nostalgia for the 60's. We are about to live in a much more interesting time.
