Tecnica Agent 110 + Booster Strap?

Picking up some Agent 110 boots this weekend and I'm wondering if I should invest in a Booster Strap for 'em. The boots already claim to have a stretchy elastic power strap, so I'm wondering if the Booster is even necessary. And does anybody know if the Booster Strap is compatible with the Agent 110, since the boot doesn't have a traditional power strap mounting system? Thanks.
 
it is compatible, and the elastic strap that comes stock with the 110 looks like it will get brittle and break in cold conditions. id definitely switch them out
 
I have them on the agents and they work real well but anyone else think they're ugly as hell?

why isn't there a freeride strap that comes in different colors than black and doesn't have 'booster' across the front like it's an infant seat for kids?
 
Who the hell cares? Your pants cover it, and who what it looks like anyways. It's not like people are going to judge you because you have a Booster Strap on your Tecnica Agent 110s.
 
Chill out, man. I don’t think anyone would judge someone for booster straps – pretty much everyone has a pair these days. I’m saying for an industry that’s so bent on steeze, it’s crazy that there’s not a better-looking and more freeride-specific strap, regardless of whether or not your pants cover them. A jacket would cover a turtleneck, but it doesn’t mean anyone’s gonna start wearing those anytime soon.
 
All I'm saying is it doesn't matter because your pants would cover it. And the turtleneck reference is different becaus a turtleneck doesn't affect your performance.
 
i have agent 100s with booster straps. stopped my shinbang. but it softened my boot up a bit, i dont know if you are worried about that.
