Just saying these songs/bands are like indie electronic rock. Techno isn't even hardly a real genre anymore. But if by techno you mean "electronic music" then you are sampling a very very small niche of semi-electronic music. Trance, house, breaks, and drum n' bass are real genres of electronic music.
