yeah, i was watching it, and my cousins was with me. And we were just laughing it was so hilarious. There were so many shots of the riders standing and like flashing gang gestures or giving the finger.

It was funny. Now i have idols.

Dude if im not mistake Mark Frank for example, grew up in innercity Denver and was by no means rich growing up. The kid was a good skateboarder and was given a chance to try Snowboarding by a friend. he was given a loaner snowboard which he proceeded to snap on his first day out and the rest is history.
 
There's an article about how MFM got into snowboarding, after coming out of a low-income childhood/neighborhood.

Some people copy T9, some people were doing it when they did, and other people don't liek the style at all.

all i know is FODT movies are fun to watch, they have a lot of tech9 riders in them, they all act gangster and i find it commical, but the riding is dope...
