Team USA Freeskiing Outerwear for olympics?

i like this a lot. skiing is what you make of it. i still love hauling ass on groomers and hitting up bumps(rarely) it sucks. that people are so full of fagotronics on how some one should ski and that goes both ways. skiing is fun. i love it.. im stoked to see pipe skiing in the Olympics. i ski pipe and i might just air out and throw a spin or two but its a blast.. its hard as fuck. i respect guys that kill it.

in the end.. who gives a fuck what they are wearing. really? as long as they are wearing the Old Star Spangled Banner.... come the winter games.. USA USA USA!.

does it really fucking matter that they dont get to wear a gay ass 6xl hoodie...does it matter that freeskiing shouldnt be in the olypmics. everyone needs to stop bitching nobody cares what you think. LIFES A BITCH DEAL WITH IT.

dude north face is a quality product and that pic u posted in a fucking practical thing to have if your hiking or climbing o r just cold.

Ugly, yeah. but practical ftw

Ya I know it is very practical. I never said they're not practical either, I was just saying that basically everyone in my town has one of these things and now they're gonna think they're the shit because north face sponsored the olympics that's all. I know north face makes a good product, I just wish it would've gone to a smaller company.

omg i hate those things.

everybody has them and they are %100 a rip off.

but seriously northface makes one cool ski suit.

needs to be Jiberish and first drop or some sick companies like that. Just jiberish if they'd make some damn snow pants.

Haha, everyone who has one of those already things they are the shit.

The North Face is legit. Everyone hating can just stop talking.

LOL
everyones so into lookin steeeezy for the olympics, but think about it. its the olympics. North Face should be sponsoring this shin dig.

explain how that is stupid? I'd like to think the Olympics aren't about branding and which athlete is getting the most money. It's not a "team Redbull vs team Monster" type event.

Haha ya that is true! You know I'm honestly not hating at all right? I have no problems (other than people thinking they're the shit, which I was just kidding about) with the north face sponsoring the olympics at all. As I said before they make a great product.

And P3t3r: Really?? You think I have a PROBLEM with a company because people who wear the product think they're the shit? You say I need to grow up, well maybe you need to lighten up a little. I'm not trying to be a dick here but I guess you can't tell I don't seriously have a problem with the company AT ALL. Oh and I am 16 so deal with it, I can't change my own damn age and I didn't think I was being that immature at all. I was joking.

You guys all realize that a small company could NEVER sponsor the olympic teams, right? TNF is probably throwing down on a multi-million dollar deal to be the outwear sponsor for the olympic freeski team.

Momentum is relatively small and they sponsored the skis for the mogul team also fulltilt isn't the biggest boot company (although they are big)

Id rather see other gettin it but TWoods is right. Like it aint a big deal really. It should be all about the skiers and the skiing itself thats thrown down. Not the cloths they wear

no matter what happens, there will always be a reason for pissy little kids to bitch about things that don't really matter, right here on newschoolers.

puts a smile on my face.

They sponsored 3 or 4 of the olympic mogul skiers (out of i dont know how many) and i was just saying that a small company could get involved in the Olympics.

Where in this thread did I ever say that Saga could sponsor them? Lol

I'm not retarded Saga has never sponsored one pipe skier, also they sell out way to quickly to deal with what would come out of it.

hell no! Was tryin to say it don't matter who gets it.

But TNF isn't to bad. It aint like Burton or some super gay shit.

Yeah because looking like you shop at an inner-city thrift store is a great way to represent your country in a newly inducted sport.

Burton had made my favorite pants (RIP) and jacket (still use). Luckily, my jacket is still holding up, the pants were done after a year. Both xxl team fit, the best. Bummer they don't make team fit anymore...

essentially it's a team sport. you're no longer representing your sponsors or yourself, per say. rather, you represent your country. look at snowboarding. everyone where's the same gear, i would expect it to be no different.

SO what you're saying is: North Face is going to be the official outerwear, and since that isn't congruent to the whole gangsta saga-esque shit (or something of the sort), you're upset. But, you think it should be just about riders and not about their clothing?

MAKE UP YOUR FUCKING MIND.

By the way, who gives a flying fuck if it is North Face, Columbia, Saga, Arc'Teryx, WalMart, or my dick? It is just clothing, it is just one event, so stop getting so butt hurt you bitches.

Are you kidding me? That particular hoodie/fleece thingy costs like $160ish(?) and is not practical at all! I had just the denali, which is the same thing except without a hood, and it sucked. They're not wind proof, and are worthless in temperatures below freezing, if that. Yes, The North Face makes extremely high quality products, but in my opinion, you're paying for the brand. Because I can get the exact same fleece form Columbia for like $40.

ehhh my super expensive NF jacket has ripped out zippers all over the place. I've also had other NF products fail me in the field, blowing a sandal out in the desert far away from your car sucks pretty bad. And then when you send it in for warranty they only send you back a gift card worth about 60%. So fuck the north face, they don't make anything special, it's all over priced shit for yuppies to wear on some once in a lifetime guided commercial trip.

i wonder how sponsors are going to take that ,if dumont is in the us pipe team ,and he has to wear lets say burton gear ...
