I see more and more people selling some of last year skis on ns. Im sure that some of you sell them of ns to... Please, DONT... You all know that we had problem with last year skis, therefore, you are selling some skis that will end up breaking... Its not fair to people that will buy them, and not fair to us either.. Its not helping our reputation that had a big punch last season with the break, creating more breaks, and it will get us to deal with people trying to get skis on the warranty...

Bottom line is..We gave you skis, Please dont sell them.

I believe it is in your contracts that you cannot sell any of the products given to you by the sponsor. You will face serious consequences if we find you are personally profiting off equipment we have given to you at no cost.

This is a serious thing, you will find this same clause in almost every sponsor's contracts.

true dat, the only kids ive seen selling the skis have been kids that are no longer sponsored by the company, but its still pretty low to sell stuff that was given to you, its like selling a christmas present

not that this has much to do with anything but most serious athletes in fact do sell their old products..tons of kids pick up pros gear at the glacier etc...that being said it is defanitely not a good move for the company to be putting more and more of these skis in the hands of kids that will break them...

a note for julien however..

The situation which caused you to post this is different...the rider you talked to was only given two pairs and skied on both...he won an extra pair of choppers at a competition...he has every right to do whatever he wants with the skis that he won. That being said, again for the sake of the company it would be best not to sell them...but he does have the right to

I am not only speakinf of that "one" rider Witt. I saw 3-4 people trying to sell their gear on NS. And Altough this rider you say won those skis, whats the point of selling a pair of skis you know will break, you will just end up with an unhappy guy saying you ripped him off, wanting his cash back, and we will end up with one more people saying that our skis suck when we are working like crazy to get a solid ski out there... Next year, I dont mind if you sell your stuff, just manage to do it where I wont hear about it...

its more about selling a bad product that will not help the company than selling gear we gave you...
