See my point exactly.

I take a negative tone about a group of people's collective behavior and it makes me a hate mongrel.

Instead of just being someone legitimately fed up with the need for this crap to be in the spotlight...and take attention away from issues that actually matter.

Guess what, I have more problems with the lack of taxes that companies like Starbucks and Google pay than gay people issues.

Maybe if they could breed and have children I'd care a little more about the ins and outs/legality/technical names of their partnerships/relationships?

Show me the discrimination towards gay people and I'll care or not get pissed off about the constant need for attention to this cause.

Its just a very stupid and petulant issue. Caring about it either way makes it dumb. I just want it to go away I am sick of all this gay rights crap.
 
although we are agreeing, there are so many people that would love to have a child and can't. If a couple is capable of being good and caring parents, their sexual orientation makes no difference, and they should be able to adopt a child. It's best for there to be some sort of parent relationship while raising a child regardless of the parents being the same gender.

but yes like you said it seems like a stupid debate when there are so many other issues that actually matter.

If you are sick of, and dont care about the issue of gay rights, then why would you post your rant in here?

I'm basing my sever dislike of macklemore on his music which has all been shitty. I have not heard on song that guy has made that I took a liking to. SO with out hearing same love I feel safe in my assumption that this song sucks equally as hard if not more hard than every other track I have heard from him.
 
Exactly. You're argument becomes more about the emotion than the logic. When you appear as if your actions are controlled by negative emotion you sound like an idiot.
If you said something like "Maybe supporters of gay marriage should consider compromising by agreeing to not call it marriage..." and went on to form a logical argument, then people might listen. It's that simple. Don't react to controversial issues with charged language and everyone is happy.

thats just stupid fuckin reasoning. you cant make an opinion on a song if youve never heard it. even if you dont like other songs, you cant judge a song on other songs from the same artist

no, that is inductive reasoning.you think that if he hates every other song he's ever heard by him, the song about gay pride will change his mind? maybe if he were gay it could sway him but based on his other posts in this thread I'm going to go out a limb and say he's not gay and probably won't enjoy the song either.
