They'll have a new CD coming out later this year....half the band left last year and they have a new band called Straylight Run. Check them out too.

Last Summer. The singer from TBS fucked one of the band members girlfriends whos also the sister of the singer from Brand New. Lotta action. So some of the guys left. TBS got a new guitarist and shit. Thats what I've heard, but there are a lotta stories about their breakup. AP magazine had an article with them after their breakup but the band just says its for both 'personal and professional' reasons.

i'm pretty sure the breakup was because one of the members of the band was dating one of the other member's sister and they broke up and caused a lot of shit within the group....had nothing to do with jesse from brand new.....and who hasn't heard of them?

Brand New isn't too fond of TBS...put it that way.

Anyone seen the Brand New tshirts that say 'microphones are for singing, not swinging' mocking the singer from TBS? They are pretty dope.

my friend krut went to one of there concerts and is really big into them, and he told me that the singer and gutiar player were the ones....

 
The only song that I have ever heard from them, was at the begining of Superpark the Movie 1. Can't remember the name of the song, but it was pretty good if I remember it right.

i agree that some emo is just guys crying about lost relationships and such(ie dashboard)and that does get annoying but i don't really think of tbs or brand new that way. at least they're comical with their bitching (have another drink and drive yourself home, hope there's ice on all the roads, and you can think of me when you forget your seatbelt and again when your head goes through the windshield)

decade under the influence is a lot mellower that their other stuff. 'mosh pit pt.2' is the only other song that you can get from the new cd, i like it a lot
