TATTS

go down to Denver, and go to collin at Kaotic Kreations. Or Nick at The Tattoo Saloon.

every tattoo artist and shop has different styles. if you're just going to walk in and pick some meaningless symbol off the wall, go anywhere. if you're going to have your own design or something custom, go in and speak with them. get a quote on how much it will cost, talk to the artist, and most importantly look at their portfolio. ask them to show you their single use needles and their autoclave. if they can't produce a portfolio, an autoclave, and pre-packaged single-use needles, go find another shop. it's also worth it to pay the extra money for a good artist. give it some good, hard thought. it's going to be on your body forever. tattoos do not come off.

laser tattoo removal is very expensive, and hurts vastly more than getting the tattoo does. it also leaves you with some pretty adorable scars. unless you're in a similar situation as a family friend of mine was in where he went down the wrong path in his adolescent years and had a pretty racially offensive tattoo that he needed to get rid of once he cleaned himself up, laser removal isn't a particularly smart choice. if you're going to get a tattoo, make it something you want on your body for ever.
