Tattoos(ski related ones)

I was just wondering if any one else has any tattoos that are some what related to skiing? I have two tattoos. they both are snowflakes. not the normal ones...one of them is a sick trible like snowflake one. the other is just a small normal like one.

I want to get one that's half snowflake, half sun with the snowflake wrapping around the back and scraping the sun.. meh, hard to explain.

the ns.com logo would be sick as! I wanna get chinese letters on my back somewhere saying 'Pure Spirit' that'd be sick. Or the salomon logo on my lower back.

haha, that would be so funny if someone had some company symbol tatooed. I think a sticker or a shirt would be more fitting. But I guess it's not too far off from getting band logos/names, and tons of people do that...

i'm gonna get a little snowflake on my back as soon as i turn 18.. charley's idea is rad though! charley, i still think we should put that picture you found on the front of our hoodies

my sisters friend has a snowboarding tattoo on her ... i was at my sisters house and we were talkin about tattoos and her friend showed me the one thats on her ... its the coolest thing ever

I haven't designed it so I don't have a pic yet- really just came out of my head which is why I like the idea so much... I want it to be my own you know? unique, and I can say that I designed it. Yep, brooke we gotta figure out what we want on our *special* hoodies so we can represent! We should get zip up ones with half the word on one side, half on the other- like that hurley one I have ya know? That'd be sick, prolly expensive though.

Um, if your only going to be making a few of these sweat shirts just buy blank ones and sow the letters on. One kid in my home ecinomics class made 4 hoodies in 4 days. I made a take-apart cow. It rules, it'a cow and its split up but held together with velcro.

in freeze, last year or 2 years ago, theres a little article about brett carlson, and there is a pic of someone with a sweet tat on his back. its a huge snowflake with brett carlson written underneath it, go through your old freeze issues and find it

ohh well at least when i'm old and wrinkled more old and wrinkled people will have them too. think about it its almost normal now a days to have one.

i think pro snowboarder tina basich has a really nice lookin tat on her shoulder. it's a mountain reflected in a lake with a sunset and falling snow

The person with the Brett Carlson tatoo is Damion Cromwell (SP). I met him at COC this summer and saw that thing, and it's pretty wicked. Plus the fact that it's like a dedication is pretty cool too. Guess they were like best friends or something. I heard of a guy who was sponsored by Rossy and had the red, white and blue rooster on his neck, which is pretty sweet until you get dropped and get picked up by another company.

shit i like tatoos and all but think for a minute here. Do you really want a salomon logo on your back when you're 50. I know a guy who got the nike swoosh on his arm. he hates it. It turns you in to a walking piece of corporate advertisement.

 
Yeah, part of getting a tatoo is to be diffrent, if you put a logo on it that defeats the real purpose. For example I hate big corpirations, I have no clothes that have any company names on them, If I get one that does as a gift or something I just take it off. I have no problem paying for the clothing, but I won't give out free advertising.

pretty big snowflake on outside part of left foot, about 2 inches diameter, with gray scaling in the back, looks pretty good.

 
I don't know if Phat tim was trying to make fun of me but I DO have a Salomon tattoo on my lower back. I started skiing on salomons and until last year they were the only ski I'd ride, plus my best friend (the alberta freestyle coach) was sponsored by them and he has been my mentor for skiing forever.
 
i have a snowflake on my foot too. i love it a lot. i think that if you get something that is meaningful and tasteful then they are legit.
 
yeah i agree, i find it so ugly when people just get a random tatoo cause they like the way it looks or something
