Tattoo help.

I just recently got my first tattoo, and now i want to add to it, but need some input.

My tattoo says "Up To The Sky" on my chest, going along my neckline. The reason i got it was for my grandmother that recently passed away. My 2 brothers and I all got it in the same spot.

But i want to add to it, and am unsure/unartistic. I thought about angel wings on my shoulders, but i dont think that would flow.

Any ideas/suggestions?
 
I doubt i will get one good answer out of 10, but i want it to be something that is respectful, and goes with this style.
 
Possibly clouds? It definately goes with that considering it's "up to the sky" and if you get em done in black and white they could look really nice...
 
Ya, i thought about putting it in a scroll type thing too(of that makes sense).

But the clouds is a good idea. I like it. I will probably incorporate angels too
 
You could always get a Madonna (spanish style) in the middle of your chest. I think that would be ill. Or another religious idea that is if your religious... you could get the burning heart

ahhh tyler you should've done my bros tattoo. i was going to steer you away from the scroll idea, because my brother has one on his back that looks like horseshit, but that sketch looks nice. cool tribute dude.
 
wow dude this is really weird, my grandmother is close to passing from Alzheimer's and i've been sketching up designs, and i've come up with the exact same banner (different words of course) type of design on the exact same spot on my chest, thats crazy, and it looks good i'm glad i get to see what it looks like
 
my grandpa just passed from alzhheimers. man that disease SUCKS. real sad, sorry dude

but yah anyone read wayside school books? when the kid gets a tattoo of a potato? haha so funnyy do that
 
The real deal is designing it yourself... but if you want NS part of your tat, there's another reason to get help from us.
 
Just make sure you see a few designs that you like and don't rush the decision, getting ideas is ultimately helpful but I'd just go down to the shop with something that you like and then tell him to make what you want out of what you like, it should come out something more "you"
 
Ya, i just want to be able to bring him a rough sketch of what i want it to look like and he will go from there.
 
Being my first tat made it alot worse. But as soon as he started it, i got really queezy and felt like i was gonna puke. that was just from a foreign object in me. but after that when we got back to it, it still hurt, but i made it.
 
Yeah my first was on my ribs and everytime i started to get into the groove of things he took a break... Fucker
 
same here they are just so sick

mine hurt like a mother got it on my side dayyumm i thought it was gonna be bad but it was insane two and a half freakin hours
 
mine is a good size and n my ribs which was $400 or 450 i dont remember but ribs also cost more besacuse of the placement you can go from $2000
 
get two white doves holding the banner between them and maybe some clouds with the gates to heaven near your collar, and a portrait of your grandma below the banner, kinda give the doves movement to symbolize the movement of your grandma from earth to a better place
 
hwo about a scene of you and your grandma on a rollercoaster, or doing something else fun, like feeding ducks
 


Hey man if you can do something with a Maltese cross and some tribal design incorporates i would be forever grateful and your art would don another body... The cross doesn't have to be exactly like this one...there are other variations but needs to be red

yo hate to be asking too much of you... but i have this great concept of a tattoo that takes the center globe of the brasilian flag (i am brasileiro). what would be ill would be to draw some sort of clouds wispin around the globe so that it looks like it is planet as well as just a globe... feel me?
