Skiing the east coast may be a way of life, but Ski the East is a clothing company, of which this idiot got permanently branded with.

It's cool that the tattoo actually has a signification... and it's not just groupie thing. Cause at first, i thought your tattoo was like to rep the brand name, or whatever.
 
How does it have any signification? He may be dedicated to skiing the east coast but its still just a fucking logo for a company. There are so many other creative, unique, original ways to express east coast skiing in a tattoo design without getting a fucking logo permanently etched into your skin.
I'm sorry for being a dick, but it really pisses me the fuck off when people abuse the power of tattoos and it pisses me off even more when people encourage terrible tattoos.

I love getting mixed reviews on stuff. I got it because theres how much i love skiing, even if skiing the west is better by opinion, i grew up here in the east, and its my roots. ya its a company logo but it just happens to fit what i want perfect. no matter how much shit talking some of you may do it wont change the fact that i love to ski, and i ski the east. i dont care if u ski, snowboard, skiboard, sled, tube or ski-bike down. if you go down the mountain and love it as much as i do I have respect. if you wanna hate than go ahead because it ain't changing my love for the sport.

If there's already a legit logo/symbol that represents what you're about, why not go ahead and get it inked? No point in trying to design your own if you've already got a design, anf you're stoked on it. And STE is more than just a clothing company, it's there to promote Skiing in the East, which this guy just so happens to love doing. Props to you my friend.
 
sorry. as long as everyone else is giving their opinions...seeminly un-thought out, tacky, and gross. but you didn't get it to show off right? you got it so it would always remind you of skiing the east every time you saw it...when your looking in the mirror....backwards....?
 
its not backwards for the mirror image, i inverted the picture it so you could read it. its not to show off, just to remind me the love of the sport. when im 80 and have Alzheimer's I want to remember my life and what i love.

for anyone nay saying his tattoo. fuck off. whats the big deal for that man? at that point in his life he thought it would be a rad thing to show support with that. yeah, its with him for the rest of his life but everytime he sees it hes also going to be like fuck yeah, those were the times. whats teh big deal about that? its not your body that he decided to put the tattoo on. get off of your high chari and be stoked for the homie.
i did pretty much the exact same thing, except instead of ski the east its smuggs. ive heard a few people give me shit for it but fuck it, i have strong emotions and memories tied to the spot and ive anyone notices its a great conversation starter.

thanks guys I appreciate you guys understanding my reasoning and telling the haters to suck it. maybe someday they'll find something they love enough to want a tattoo of it! and hell im sure in 20 years if the East never snows again, i can say "i skied the east before it melted away"
