Tried it, would rate a 4/10. Just get turf and save yourself the frustration. If you're wondering if it'll slide, yes it will but not very efficiently and you have to water it constantly to keep it wet.

I got some older turf for free and it didn't slide very well. So i got some tarp and put it at the top of the drop in and turf at the bottom. I also put dishsoap on the turf so it would slide better.

try some of the plastic orange construction fencing mesh. It slides well and is super easy to come buy

I've seen tarps for landings but never for a drop in I feel like it would be really hard to have any control on it and your edges would slice it up.
