is there anyway to transfer music on tapes to cd or your computer? or how good are minidisk players because i record off the radio a lot and wanted something else to listen to them on besides tapes

minidiscs are awesome i would get one they are super easy to record with have good quality and you can record 5 hours on one

 
you just need a audio cable. hook up the cable to the line out jack if you have one on your cassette player (if not, just use the headphone jack) and hook the other end up to the line in port on your sound card (if you don't have a line-in, just use your mic port.) then just press play and you can record using one of many different programs.

I like CD burners more because you can record faster than real time like tapes and cd burners.!

minidisks are king, you can put sooo much on one disk, they might be expensive but you save money in the long-run

now that mini discs have netmd, i think they are deff better. i hated transferring in real time, that was bs.

 
yeah the new sony's rip the net md is so good to bad it's like 600 bones. I'll have to save up for that bad boy.

nah dude net mds are cheaper than that. check out sonystyle.com they have all of them

yeah MD are where it's at right now. They just need to get the boomboxes to use MDs. I'm still waiting for that.

I have an old school MD, back when they first came out. I rode with it all year but it usually skips when I rode park. I love the quality and compactness, so I think Im gonna buy a new one if I can get some cash.

i love my md cause u can hook it up to anythign and get good quality..and the new ones u can record up to 4 hours

 
i already had an mp3 player and i dont like the quality on them

mini disks are hella tight...ipods are so khoo too. even though you hafta have a mac...u can store up to 800 hours of stuff or somethin craazie like that on em
