Yes it captures to a mini SD card I believe and has a little LCD screen. Allows you to run a VX without tapes and in the cold. I’ve been wondering if it’s possible to do that on a DVX100 but I haven’t found anyone whose tried it

The quality isn’t rly lost much at all. Keep in mind you loose quality overtime with tapes

Peep the vids on my yt. All on powerplay, batteries i picked up hold charge real well in the cold. Only downside is mono audio
