Tap jib thing

Hey, anyone got any advice on how to build on to those jibs that look lie a big mushroom, you like do tail taps and things on them (I know, I'm a noob).

its not the same, but one thing you could do, which i have done, is buy a water butt thing...you can make it a stool feature or taps and stuff...other wise i would say its going to be hard to make something like what you are thinking of....

Like a joystick? use an upside down garbage can..

Is that what they're called, joysticks? sounds a good idea, I've got a couple of old plastic barrels lying around, maybe use them.

Barrels work well. May just need to figure out a way to weight it down so it doesn't flip as easy.

filled with snow? or water then left to freeze?

You could go that way or just put some snow in the bottom and pack snow around the base. That way it's not like landing on concrete if you fall on it. IMO it's a little more fun if you can actually get a little rebound from the barrel. You can't really get that if the whole barrel is full. Filling it all the way up may also actually make it more top heavy and easier to tip over.
