Hey i just noticed this.... the jump that tanner and those guys were using to hit chads was way huge, and i thought it was pretty unimpressive. Sage was hitting it two years ago with a tiny jump, and he might not have been going switch, but i think its kinda like urban rails, where if you build a big jump its just not as cool. Im not sayin im going to go hit chads switch, but i just thought they should have built a smaller jump
 
i dunno... i think that was some of the best movie segment this year... i dont care much bout the size of the jump
 
yea ur a wannabe go away man....hit a gap that big that requires that much speed backwards id want an extra reaasurrance that id make the landing....cept when the inrun heats up theres nothing to help
 
Im not saying i made it bad, im just sayin that if it was a small jump if would have been way coller.... in my opinion at least. i still think tanners a good skier though, just a really gay ass cocky bitch
 
how is a small jump cooler. it is way cooler with a massive jump. also, you couldn't hit chads switch with a small jump. there is a turn in the bottom of the inrun which takes away some speed so it is hella scetchy. before you bitch people out for progressing skiing try to look at it with an open mind. im sure that if it wasn't tanner you wouldn't be saying this
 
why wouldnt u want them to go bigger...why not make the jump as big as possible so it looks that much sicker....its nothing like rails...of jumps ur looking for height not how u make a jump so u just clear a gap
 
you know what guys? we should just make all of the jumps in all movies tiny. you know, anyone can spin a 9 when they get 2 seconds of hangtime, but i want to see them try to stick that shit over 5 foot tables with no lip. Thats where our sport should be headed
 
The snow was almost too damn slow to do Chads anyway. Its somewhat of a miracle he made it anyway. They did it in the spring time.
 
im glad they made the jump that mig. tanner is so high on that cab 5 thats in freeskier. but my favorite jump this year is the one that tanner does in the beginning of the newer teddy bear crisis trailer. its such a huge jump
 
i think they should do away with superpipes as well lets stick to mini pipes nothing over 8 feet lets see simon get out 20+ then
 
the fact that he didnt make it means that he would have been fucked if it was any smaller.

and if tanner cant do it switch on a jump that big, I serious doubt anyone could do it switch any smaller
 
umm a bigger jump means you go bigger. Rails and jumps are very different. If anything the bigger jump makes it more imprssive
 
well the big jump made them go bigger whcih was sick but I guess it made the gap easier but think about it he just did a switch 900 over a 120 gap that if you mess up you die... I say impressive
 
hitting chads with a 3 foot high jump and sketchy set up really isnt all that safe, check out the footy of it in the media and how many times the guys hit the wall.
 
shut up... your soo dumb... this place is getting worse and worse everyday... alot of people are right... everyone on this website just talks shit all the time.... no one ever say anything positive because alot of the people on this webiste have huge ass egos... let them go because even if your tanner or a kid just starting to ski skiing is skiing... no one in history has done a switch/cab/fakie who cares 9 over chads... that was the most impressive thing ive seen all year.
 
ya i kinda get where ur comin from. it looks like almost if a gromer made it. well zach davidson does urban rails with like 1/2 foot jumps. kus he used to ski with boarders and they make them smaller(ski time mag. interveiw)
 
i dunno, candide killed it with those mistys or d-spins or whatever they were when he was like 16. they were 720s and were not exactly small.
 
the bigger the better, and as well all know, the jump they built was necessary as it is

small jumps look amateur, not exactly pro filming quality. they just look better, its not like a narrower jump would have made a difference in the jump, he still stomped switch 5's on it
 
its the same amount air, who cares if the jump is big or small. same length, same hight, same hang time...it doesn't matter
