Why is it so many who dont like tanners new gorilla style? I think its cool, but it would be bad if everyone started skiing like that.

 
ya, its funny, its starting to grow on me more and more

my intire crew waited for his ass at the bottem of the hill and beat the shit out of him. i broke his poles agianst a tree, and we snapped one of his skis. fucker got uppercutted so much. he was bleeding from his eyes and shit, crying like a little pussy. i busted out a body slam on his ass and broke both of his arms. the ski patroler broke up the fight and clipped all of our tickets. we where gonna beat the shit out of the patroller but my mom came to pick us up.

yeah i didnt like it at first but then the more i watched this years movies i liked it more and more and i tried it and it helps my skiing, it makes it easier to do some tricks

yeah for rails I agree it is easier. the closer your hands are to your knees while on the rail the closer your center of gravity is to the ground which helps alot. gorilla style is just basically a racers tuck, but with hanging arms and wide stance.

sacrifice, to some its just a word, to others it is a code, what matters is the colony, he is willing to live for the colony, fight for the colony, die for the colony.

 
i think its sweet. and plus, i think tanner is what happening right now. i give him props for switching from the big league ski companies to armada, i think its the best move hes ever done.

and i think its what skiing should be like.

 
can't say i'm a fan. it looks pretty flaming to me. he makes himself look like all the gaoers out there who can throw rodeo 5s in the pipe but couldnt ski a decent line if hitler was holding a gun to their heads.

 
but it strikes me as kinda funny, because he can ski any line out there. Plus, the idea for his style was given to him by marc frank montoya. That man has the most style on rails out of anyone EVER so if he gave me or anyone an idea i think i would listen to it. i think i am starting to like the style. I guess you could say its groing on me.

im gonna do some human steeze cause im a human, and im going to ski how i want and how i feel comfertable.

im not dissing the gorilla steeze....but i feel people should just do whats comfertable for them to do.

like i tried gorilla on rails and i didn't find it easier i found the regular way to do rails easier...

yah its totally all about what people wanna do and whats comfortable for them, which is kinda what skiin's all about anyway. Its also hella cool that skiings now at the stage where it is getting lots of recgnisably different styles

Why is it 'Tanner's Gorilla Steeze'???? It's just as much his as it is Turpin's, Pollard's etc. I can amost guarantee he wasn't the first skier to start skiing that way. I think it's kinda silly how all of the sudden alot of the riders who didn't ski like that last year are riding like that now. Haha, I was just watching some footage of Thomas Rinfret, Evan Raps, Henik Winstedt etc. and these guys have adopted the racer stance. I have nothing agains these skiers (they kick ass) it's just funny...

 
i think gorilla style is just plain bad sking, no efense, tanner blurs the line between video game and real shit, but honeslty

 
as long as it just stays in the park its ok, but when you see someone trying to do that while freeskiing you just look like a freaken retard

The best thing about tenners style is the way you can tell which way hes gonna spin when he goes off the jump. but he doesnt really wind up big and huck it. I have no problems with the gorilla style, cuz thts just goin in and coming out of the jump.
