i was just whatchin yearbook and I noticed is double grab japan/critical kinda creative

Remember it's 10% equipment, 90% rider, and 0% what kinda jacket your wearing

yeah opens up a lot of options, but i think only tanner and a few others have enough stizzle to pull it off right now. i'm gonna go for a uncrossed simultaneous mute/phil this season just cuz of that shot in yearbook

in rex thomas's xgames slope run last year, i believe he threw a cork 9 with a crossed up phil to lui kang. something crazy tech like that.

when i heard about that double grab i thought it was gna be sorta gay but tanner pulls it off awesome. that said, there arent that many double grabs that would look good i dont think, like a double safety would just look stupid, like a tuck jump or sumat. as for the phil to luikang, i hate luikangs anyway but changing grabs mid-trick is stupid i reckon it looks dumb it just means a whole lotta movemenet which = nooooo steeze. even if its 'clean' it looks dumb. personal opinion anyway. mainly cuz i like people with a 'no movement' style (ie olenick, tanner, dumont)

you're gonna have to watch it before you bash the trick you know. all i can say is that it was a pretty gnar trick, whatever he did.

and you guys are still talking bout changing grabs mid-trick. HE MEANS GRABBING WITH BOTH HANDS!!!!! like tanner's cab 5 japan/critical in Yearbook. that looks awesome. but like i said before, i dont think many other 2 handed grabs would have much steeze at all.

Someone does a grab like that in the pipe in either Propaganda or The Game. Its in the opening sequence, or during that riders section. I think it was Shannon Schad. Its not new by any means B-Flip. However, its still pretty dope because no one is really trying to make it work until now i guess.

Props to Julien I remember seeing that in 2000 and then wondering why no one else did doubles for the next four years. Tanners shot in yearbook @ Mammoth is one of the best ever in a vid. But I still got to give the origional steeze to Julien.

 
Yeah, both Tanners' segments were sick. I know Jarrett (GhostDragon) does double grabs.
