Ok 1st off this is not meant to shit talk Tanner but i got some ish to say. Whats up with him being so hypocritical. He practically made and skied rossis for sooo long and now he is as against rossi and other companies such as k2 just cuz they make skis that arent twins. I think this is stupid. Why hate. I mean yeah like Ninthward, Liberty, Line, 4frnt n all those other companies are contibuting the most but still...rossi n k2 fuckin rip. I dunno it just seems a bit hypocritical if you ask me. Hell im skiing rossis now. I can see if youre sponsored n shit but i mean...most kids dont have enough money to spend 5-600 dollars on skis that they will use 1 season and either destroy them or grow out of them. i dunno...what do you guys think

I say spend money on companies that you know will put the money right back into the sport you love. If you dont care, then buy whatever, if you wanna help, then buy core.

i would love to support 4frnt n them but what do these guys expect me 2 do...im 14 ...i cant even get a job. if i wanted 4frnts i would have to spend alll the money i got from christmas and birthday just for the stix...no bindings..the only company i can afford to buy is ninthward...i just wanna watch em the rest of this year n next year im buyin em

ski a ski cuz you like it, not cuz you want to ski a core company, i ski K2 and they are awesome, the guys that make the skiis still have to make cash so they make non twin skis, the freestyle 'crowd' is tiny compared to the rest of skiiers that just ski to carve.

ok, yes i see the point of buying from a core company, but just because you buy rossig skis etc. doesn't mean you're killing the sport, big companies watch the market, and if u buy twins from them they will make more twins. K2 now has one of the largest selections of twins, a really strong pro team

 
the future of skiing is not necessarily freestyle stuff... most people just want to go down the slope, carving... what some people like atnner need to realise is that not everyone wants to ski like we do, and companies like rossi and k2 know this: some people get a week at the snow and don't want to spend it in the snowpark: they want carving skis, powderskis or anything else for that matter, and these companies can give it to them.

4frnt armada and such are good to sustain the growing of our little niche, but, and i repeat myself, the vast majority of skiiers don't need twin tips and don't want them...

bottom line is you ski the skis you like, end of story, don't bash the others who do the same thing as you: ski.

i definitely support core companies, but i'm gonna give the relly new companies some time before i invest inthem.

for example..the line binding, it definitely has some HUGE kinks to work out

Wow twin tipped ski's are helping the industry SOOOO MUCH... I mean they bend the tails up! Stop saying salomon, rossi and K2 arn't helping the industry. They practically invented the industry. Just because a ski company decides to bend the tails up on all of their skis (all 4 models) doesn't mean shit except they are targeting a certain demographic.

We pay our debt sometimes.
 
im probley not gonna ride twins when im 40, why would I? it'd be sweet to be able to rip when i was that old but i can almost garenty if i did i wouldnt last more then one fall. so their really isnt any point to buying twins why not buy a ski thats ment for carving when im that old.

Kasanovah, youre wrong, when you go to comps, what sponsors do you see on the side? armada? 4frnt? ninthward? no. you see salomon, rossi, k2...it doesnt matter who you buy from, in fact, its almost better to buy from the 'evil' companies, because those skis are for sure made well, because they are big names.

Now, you could come back and say that we should buy from the so called 'core' companies, so that they can start sponsoring events...but if they want to do it, they can most likely already do it. then again, with line's issues with their bindings, they may not be able to do anything for abit..

for one thing... you can get a job... for another thing spend alllll your moeny that you got from christmas and your birthday thats what i did i got armadas... there a pretty bad ass ski... and for you not getting a job i bet you your just lazy cause you can get a job at mcdonals or tim hortons or something its not that hard... or stop whining about not being able to buy skis with your own money... your parents probably buy them anyways
