tanners run was the same as last year, laurent's run had back to back switch hits, alley oop switch 5 and down the pipe switch 9, something completely new to a pipe contest. I think laurent should have won.

why should he win because he the most influential of the time? its a contest to see who can put together something sick at the given time, not over the years, and laurent put together a better more progressive run.

if it were an award for "Most influential skier" then with your argument tanner might have deserved it. but its a pipe comp, not the Powder readers poll or some other stupid biased shit.
