TANNER vs. DUMONT

Have you ever heard anything stupider? Obviously simon dumont is the pimp shit and tanner is a cockey shit thats going out of style.
 
thats the real question. put them in a UFC ring (the octagon) armed with a ski, and see who wins. right now, i back tanner, as dumont can hardly walk!

Tanner is the best in the sport, and has consistently been so since he took his first X-Games gold.
 
you fucking park rats...thats all you guys ever do is try to convince so and so that this rider is the best in the world, and no, this rider is.....there is no single best, and the reason that is is because theres not one skier that rocks house in EVERY category of skiing...Tanner is a good rider, and yes he does go into the backcountry, but he doesnt have anywhere near the backcountry prowess of someone like say, Dana Flahr. but then again, Dana doesnt have the rail or jump steeze that Tanner does. I dont think ive ever seen Tanner do a full throttle line with a 120 foot rodeo 7 off an 80 foot cliff. but likewise, ive never seen Seth do a 450-on, 270-off. Sage, Henrik Winstedt, Marc Abma, Marc-Andre Belliveu....these guys are all super good at everything they do. Tanner may be one of the best park skiers on the planet (maybe, i think laurent favre and charles gagnier are better in my opinion) but that does not mean he is the best skier in the world.

so for the love of god, stop trying to pick one. because there isnt one. and it sure as fuck ISNT tanner hall. you guys give him soooooooo much worship here and refuse to give props to other riders. he deserves about a tenth of it. pull your heads out of your asses. Park skiing is like 10% of the sport, not 90%.

tanner is so dope tho... best jibber for sure and still the top man in slopestyle.
 
my boy PEP kills it all, but id have to go with THALL..hes proved himself time and time ago that hes still at the top of his game. DUMONT is gonna "Pop right back in front of him"
 
tanner is very much a more complete freerider in my opinion, but he does have a couple more years on him than dumont, i'm sure dumont will catch up.
 
dumont definitely owns in the pipe, and he is just ridiculously ballzy. I mean cmon he overshot a landing by a 100 ft. Tanner has skills but I think this was prolly the last xgames medal that tanner wins
 
tanner is one of the best skiers right now, and people forget that just becasue they hate how he acts. Watch any video with him in it and you can see why he's so good

And for people who said they like simon because tanner acts gangsta, that has nothing to do with whether tanner or dumont is better at skiing. Let Tanner act the way he wants, hes a great skier. Let that be enough to tell you hes good.
