Tanner vs candide..

unfortunately I havent seen much candide footage recently other than X-games slopestyle. I heard he broke his back this year. So hopefully we'll get some sick footage of him this season.
 
tanner's an asshole, and candide's nice i hear...I like his skiing better too, a little bit smoother everywhere
 
candide with out a doubt. buy far. he has smooth natural original steeze. his invite is the shit. his flicks (rastafaride) are always really!!!!!!!!!!!!!! enjoyable and hes a reall cool humble dude. personally i think tanner has forced steeze even though he is a good skier. and he is far from humble.
 
i like candide better. i don't know tanner personally, but everybody knows he kinda seems like an asshole
 
tanner is not an asshole like everyone thinks he is, if you've actually met him he's super chill (probably because he's as baked as a homemade apple pie)

im gonna have to go with candide though on this one, i like his style more and he goes huge

They do different things Candide still rides park but Tanner really doesn't any more so Tanner back in the day but Candide right now probably. I really don't like the Candie Invitational other than the huge rail they have and Big Bertha of course.
 
No, Tanner just doesn't compete in park. He was riding park all summer long at Momentum, Camp of Champions, and High North.

Also, about the thread, I like Tanner better, just because I think French people are smelly. That, and I like Tanner's style much better.
 
what about the ice hole gap, the rediculous hip, the butter boxes, the massive tree jib, all those crazy step ups and overs and the huuuuuge gap to rail? im gonna go out on a limb by saying its probably one of the most progressive events of the year as far a features go.
 
I totally that these threads dont really mean anything and they dont accomplish anything. However... I cant think of any situation with the possible situation of half-pipe that Tanner is a better skier than Candide. Candide has not really been all the competitive in pipe the last few years. But I would still rather watch Candide ski pretty much anything over Tanner.. In my opinion he is a better skier.
 
anybody heard of this sick up-and-comer named Tandide?

they have both done so much for the sport, Candide was the first to ever land Chad's Gap (even before any snowboarders) and then Tanner was the first one to hit it switch. Tanner broke his ankles and Candide broke his back. There isn't really anyway to decide between them.
 
once again more hate in our sport... I doubt you know either one of them, and all you do is take into account what other people think or hear about them, and spit it back out... Tanners done soooooo much for our sport, so has Candide... so to talk shit about either one of them is wack
 
Im going to have to agree with Candide, although its a tough decision. He has such amazing style, and the one time I met him he was very nice even though he doesn't speak a whole lot of english. I dont think Tanner is a dick, I just see Candide as being a better skier.
 
Candide hands down for these reasons:

he goes super huge

he grabs blunt with everything

he can land anything no mater how it goes in the air

hes french
 
if he searched he could find threads similar to this, and instead of making a whole new one he could use the old one.

and they are pointless anyways. he probably should have thought to him self "wow this was a horrible idea" and not posted at all.
 
tanner is definitely pretty nasty but so is candide. i think they are about equal in skill, but tanner is a douche sometimes and candides pretty chill so...... candide.
