^that is true but it got warmer as the day progessed and the snow became sticky therfore he needed more speed than the first couple attempts to clear the gap

The jump shape may have changed a little w/ the warming, sticky snow. You can't pop the same on every jump. I still say that's nuts anyhow.

what is if they clocked him some meters before the lip? do you know where they clocked him? maybe if they did it some meters infront of the lip its maybe enough time to slow him down on a softer, stickier snow. and i guess that its harder to pop off on that snow
