Tanner pulling out of pipe for X?

I was listening to the EXPN Podcast tonight and they said that they heard some of the rumors were TRUE that Tanner Hall was pulling out due to his feet or something like that. And that he only showed up to get face time at the comps. Any ideas to these rumors?

haha, i was just listening to the free podcast and wanted to find out if anyone else had heard about it. i guess after they fucked up slopestyle, pipe is all we got to talk about from now till the next xgames, as the "big air" was a stupid cab 10 contest. Yeah TJ had sweet steeze, but all the cab 10's got real old, real fast.
