We (Westminster College Ski and Snowboard Club) did an Idea/Believe premier in SLC tonight, and we donated all the money we made selling tickets (which wasn't a whole lot after screening rights for both movies) to the Lars Veen Action Sports Foundation for Spinal Cord Injury Research. So Tanner said he'd tear up the check we'd written him for the screening rights so that money could go to the foundation, too. 

So there you go sicmainefilms.

But seriously, that's pretty cool.
 
on a non-tanner note...how is lars? last i heard he said he doesn't want to see snow again, but that was like a month after the acident.
 
Thanks for showing someone in a positive light. Often you only hear negative, and he is a human and may make mistakes from time to time, but he does do good as well.
 
If this thread doesn't reach over 5 pages of praise, Newschoolers is a bunch of whiny pussies, that would rather see bad happen than good.

See, Hall may act a bitch at times but when it comes down to it, he does good.

He is an incredible athlete. Between the donation to the foundation, and the time he spent skiing with the sick kid, he has shown he does good things.
 
To clarify, I strongly believe that Tanner is one of the most influential professionals and business persons of our sport. My personal feelings about his character are my own and as I said I do not personally know Tanner.

Without knowing him personally we, all of us, can only see Tanner in the light HE presents himself. In this case we're seeing Tanner as one hell of a good guy. Props on that. Lets all give to someone or a cause we don't know..

hes definatly a good man in my books, doing this and doing the thing for make-a-wish foundation. my moms works with all the kids with cancer and that foundation means alot to them.
 
Ya he was super cool last night. Thats very sick that he did that. The hate for him is so out of hand. I guess you have to meet him when he's sober cause he's a real cool dude plus Believe was so good.
 
T-hall is the man straight up. Not many other pros would just give up money like that. Props to him.

wow what a wicked guy. just out of curiousity, how much would one pay for the rights to a premier?
