Tanner Hurt

Well if this is true, which I'm not sure if it is or not, then it sucks. If this is made up than some kids are going through a hell of alot of trouble trying to convince us tanner was hurt. Posting on different forums and keeping this up. If its fake these kids need a life

 
IT IS REAL! Falsetile, my friend, wouldn't lie about it, he has no reason to. I have mutiple confirmations...this is as real as it gets! Chads is a big gap, comin up short on it right now is crazy, there has been dirt on the fuckin landing for more then a week!

I am sure this is legit... we were gonna head up to Chad's yesterday at about 1, but we could see a grip of people up there (we thought it was probably a pro film crew) and we thought the snow conditions probably weren't that good. We haven't gotten any fresh for a while.

I wish we would have gone up there. Hope Tanner heals up quickly...

On another note, I know that ski patroller Dave Richards... he clipped my pass this year!

We gonna whack it til the wheels fall off.

 
i was hiking up grizzly yesterday and some chick came down on sled said tanner came up short broke his ankle doing a cab 9 on chads. when we got to the top the grizz we could see ski patrol was up at chads. Does anyone have the footy?

 
tanner broke his leg, and was out for a while right before he started winning all the comps.

Rode the snowbird tram with two (presumably pros, they dropped some serious cliffs under the twin peaks today) they were talking about t-halls accident.

That was the most terrifying story i've ever heard. it sounds like such a terrible situation. Well, hopefully broken ankles heal fast, i could see him back by the summer, maybe shred new zealand in a couple months. GET BETTER T, you are the man!

The first, was after the epic january storm that left all of utah covered in REALLY DEEP SOFT SNOW. The second time they hit it was on february 6th last year after another huge utah storm. These both provided LOTS of cushion.

This time around, we have been in a 3-4 week long dry/warm spell. There is NO give in that landing...so that is exactly why charles gagnier didn't get hurt coming up short and tanner did...

Yeah sounds nasty. Never been a big fan but you never want to see someone get injured, like it or not he's had a huge impact in recent years so lets just hope he gets back

theres a swedish link to it. jon olsson(probably) writing in swedish what happened(at around 03:00 swedish time), Tanner put a switch 5 and switch 9 over chads, but after another switch 9 he came short and broke his ankles.and after the accident they destroyed the jump and the session was closed.

It is definilty for real he broke both heals however which is way more serious than an ankle, also ASP went up and destroyed Chads, tore down the ramp in and really tried to make the landing area flat, my cousin is an instructor at Dear Valley and saw the whole destruction thing go down

I'm not a believer yet, some sounds true but some sounds fishy, 'four feet short then rag dolling' doesn't seem possible on chad's if he was four feet short he would have been on the front side of it. someone mentioned TGR, nothing on their website, that french one looks like it cites newschoolers. yeah 8-10 sounds about right.

back in my racing days i had a friend who shattered his heal. He had to get bone graft's and shit fromm his hip to fill in where the bone was too crushed. He was back skiing the next year.

He'll be back for late summer i'd say.

that is awful news. i cant think of any skiers that push things harder than Tanner does, he is a man that deserves a tremendous amount of respect for what he does, even if you dont like his 'image'. i wish him to recover back to 100% as quickly as possible, i'll be raising my drink for him tonight.

Jon has posted something, TGR, the Alta Ski patrol, Brent Neil, Ashley Battersby, a bunch of different NSers have all said shit, a bunch of people saw him at Chads prior, we know he WASNT at Gravity Games. And all the stories are the same. The only thing left is pics or video from Iberg

Well this is all bullshit; I was out parting last nite with this crew, Tanner, Candide, Nicky Adams, Belan, Larose, Philou, JP, Turpin, Iannick, Pep, and Eric Iberg. So I don’t get this whole rumour thing on NS.
