you definatley can break your ankle skiing, i did it... you gotta hit something hard and compress shit... i overshot a massive table, landed sideways, the impact pushed my tibia through my growth plate in my ankle... surgery, 8 weeks out... fucking blew...

Dude tanner is missing something chemically in his brain that separates him from me or u. Hitting chads switch is nuts. Doing a switch 9 over it doesnt make much sense to me. I cant really imagine that. Hes good.

i skipped class and took a plane quick so i was there too. i saw it happen as i was flying over. both of his boots broke off clean so now he has 2 peg legs.

yea, apparently he came up short on a cab 9 on chads... he shattered both his ankles, and he might of blown both his knees out too... dunno about the knees though... if its true and he shattered both ankles, messed his feet up, and blew out both his knees... his carrer is prolly over...

It's totally true. Heres the straight scoop on what happened, straight from people who were there, including Gordy Pfeifer. He came in switch to the jump a little slower than normal, undershot the landing by about 4 feet, ragdolled for about 75-100 feet and came to a stop near the bottom of the runout on the landing. They assumed he had compound fractures due to his screaming and such but after examination and X-rays, they realized that he had badly fractured his right heel and ankle, and broken his left ankle. He had to get immediate surgery to avoid nerve damage and it's still up in the air whether or not he'll be OK. However, its for sure that he won't be skiing much this year.

I would say that there is a good chance he's done. Lets hope he can make it back, because as much as I dislike his image, losing skiers is never good.

i read when u posted and it said on the fifth of march. i find it hard to believe that he is in alta. right now tanner is in pa with his girlfriend. he came here on friday and is staying until today which is sunday.
