Well, i guess it speaks volumes that he deleted it now, woopsy!
I think we can write it off as an drunken/high rant, i think we've all been there. I don't agree with what he says, i don't belive there's any part of skiing that is more "real" than any other, but we've all talked bullshit, and said not so well thought through things at one point, so it's all good. Tanner is an icon, and his skiing is dope as hell, and like someone else said, it's kinda refreshing with someone just ranting on, all stoked and high!
For some reason i think that if he'd been at a rail jam, and someone stomped some crazy shit, he'd be equally as stoked, he's just a stoked guy!
To all the people taking this as a stamp of approval that big mountain skiing is "real" skiing, and better than other forms of skiing, way to over interpret, i guess Tanner's statements helped you sooth some sort of underlying insecurity about your skiing. That's all good as well, i'm gonna go hit a rail now, and do some REAL skiing!
