Tanner Halls says YOUR not acctually Skiing!

TANNERS FUCKING SKI CAREER WAS FOUNDED ON WHAT HE JUST TALKED SHIT ON. ANYONE WHO AGREES WITH ANY OF WHAT JUST CAME OUT OF HIS MOUTH ON FILM SHOULD BE ASSASINATED. PERSONALLY I FEEL THE SAME WAY, BUT THAT JUST MAKES NO SENSE COMING FROM HIM.

just tanner being tanner. but i completely agree with him, i think he just said it in a way thats going to mix things up and poeple are going to like. the guy has to draw somesort of attention to himself while he cant ski. and about his pro model being a park ski that puerely for the money park skis sell better and have more of a market than a pow ski pritty simple explination.
 
look back at tanner's old footy, ya he does alot of park, but he has always been in the BC, be it booters, cat skiing, or heli skiing, you cant hate on a guy for being the most well rounded skier out there, but at least he knows that skiing real mountains is where the sport should be, not watching tom wallisch slide a long piece of metal

who the fuck is he to tell us weather we are doing "real skiing" or not. Skiing is whatever you want it to be as long as you are having fun. some people like to ride helicopters up some of the biggest mountains in the world and other people would be happy with a kink rail WHO THE FUCK CARES as long as you are having fun goddammit.

 
Exactly. And surprisingly, most kids don't have access to helicopters, so they can do 'real' skiing. And half-pipe made him, and now it apparently doesn't qualify as skiing? He may have been stoked and baked, but that's no excuse to call out park skiing, and fellow skiers. He came across as a total douchebag.
 
i think the problem is a lack of greenery, somebody give him a joint so he can chill.

as far as his park pro model 'S, the thall ski is the perfect park ski in which he designed years ago. his dalbello boot is several years old and is the exact same design as a full tilt. he knows skiing better than anyone, hes invented this shit.

the most undeniable form of skiing to me is putting your skins or snowshoes on, going where there are no tracks, no nothing except mountains, and doing your thing.

yeah tanner, cause all of us can hop on a fucking helicopter as we please and go ski "real snow."
 
i kinda agree with Tanner but also skiing to me is anything on the mountain. In the morning you will seem me sking trees pillows cliffs and open bowls ebfore it get all tracked out and in the afternoon u will see me in the park hitting rails or on groomer days you will see me laying down some turn with my race skis its best to be well rounded then just sticking to one i belive
 
i was wondering about the whole accent thing too hah. but my opinion of him has stayed the same. i just feel bad for him that when he watches it sober hes gonna realize that he kind of sounded like an ass haha i dont think he meant any harm though
 
Guys stop listening to what he says and listen to what he means. He means that just slaying park is what skiing is all about. And that skiing some natural shit is da illest.

I still find everything that is done in the park and pipe absolutely amazing and to take a big shit on everything that made you what you are and started this sport (twin tips) is pretty stupid, even for a guy who is baked out of his mind.
 
i think he might have been drunk just sayin i wouldnt rant like that if i was just baked but thats just me.

tanner- ns has shown a lot of love for you and you have shown love for us so lets just keep that in mind. I doubt this site will agree with what you define as "real" and "not real" skiing. its foolish to say that different categoies of skiing are less credible than others. they are each unique and different and awesome. having said that i really cant argue the opposite of what you said.
