Tanner Hall's new movie

So before you go nuts, Tanner is not coming out with some movie that he hasn't told anyone about. But I was watching some of the interviews from the powder awards, and Tanner mentioned some plans for a movie next year. I first just went "dope, stoked to see Tanner make another movie" Then he continued and said that he'd like to embark on a two year project ala thats it thats all. With redbull funding, I'm sure Tanner could make a SICK movie. Not saying that Tanner will pretty much make a skiing version of thats it thats all, but if anyone has the potential to do it, it's Tanner. What do other people think?

Two year project sounds good to me as long as he gives us the required tanner stoke through MSP and TGR~

He's been saying that he was stocked on filming with TGR and did not really talk about his own movie. That would be kinda late in the season to start a new movie.

Sounds so dope, Tanner def. wil have a sick part with MSP this year if he films with them as well as PBP if he did that again. I guess Dumonts 'transitions" is coming out this year after 2 years?

Tanner's not filming with msp. He's filming with tgr. Not sure about any other companies he's filming with.

What the hell... why? They have a big budget and can put him in spots where he can really shine. MSP always has killer cinematography. Most of the NS scene just doesnt like the fact that they dont put any rails in their movies, the music is usually crappy, and theyre usually pretty similar as far as style. Skiing wise though, they are superb movies, and yes Id say thats the most important part heh~

I usually find them pretty poorly put together, generally the editing is weak, music sucks (which can really make or break a segment IMO) and pretty lame. I'm not going to disagree that they don't have good cinematography because they definitely do that well but overall movie quality just isn't there. I'd rather see him in a PBP movie. Although a lot of films have gone downward.

Ya that sounds dope, also if any of you have Fuel tv They interviewed Simon, and in less then a year he will have his new movie i cant remember the name but he said it a documentary on him, about his life and skiing. NO JOKE

They already did. Red Bull or Oakley made an edit of Tanner and Trice going head to head at Snowpark on a few different features. A step up, a table and the pipe I think. Maybe it's in the extras of maybe... Believe? I don't remember this too well but both killed it.

MSP's Claim was so fucking good, i don't know how anyone wouldn't have loved it. Jacob Wester and Sean Pettit's segments were amazing.

Hey, did you not get the memo? You're not supposed to have your own opinion. People are not supposed to have their own tastes. Just listen to the others who tirelessly hate on MSP and fall into line, dammit!

He is filming with TGR this year.

The T-Rice/T-Hall thing is the extras of Believe. There is also a short night time T-Rice/T-Hall box jib thing in Show and Prove.

I doubt Red Bull will be shelling out the budget for another That's it That's all type movie this year, very expensive. Personally I don't think looking at Tanner's last few films that his crew would be able to make something of that quality (not hating, Believe is one of my fav. ski flicks), I just don't think they have the same vision/talent that Curt Morgan and the TITA crew did. That said, I think a skiing version would be awesome if it focused more on big mountain and pow. TITA is amazing, but it's pretty much 90% jumping (amazing jumping), the AK seg doesn't have any insane stuff, imagine TITA quality production with TGR quality AK skiing.

It was an extra in Believe. Super dope, but a whole movie with Tanner, Travis and their respective crews would be unbelievable.

To clear up the above, Tanner isn't filming with MSP. He is filming with TGR, and with PBP. There was some talk about him doing something with 4bi9 as well.

Uhm id say claim had some of the best big mountain skiing of any movie this year. Not as many super steep shots like in TGR, but a lot more hucks and natural hits. Hugo Pettit and Hoj fucking destroyed. Not a whole lot of park in there but it was all very well shot with PK TJ and Jacob throwing down like nobody else can (in the literal sense, some of the shit they do nobody else can)~

Dont be an idiot, you have no evidence to back up anything you say. I didnt say it was the best movie overall. Theres a copy of turbo reasons claim such is life the motherland and slamina at my house, and ive seen massive, jib jam, under the influence and journal. Like I said, you have no clue~

LOVED BELIEVE.......can't believe THE MASSIVE was made by most of the same people. The Massive did not seem too inspired. Not impressed. Bumbaclads.
