This movie blew my mind, it was literally amazing. It starts out shitty for the first two segments, looks alot like show and prove. then cr comes and explains how he skis now and the movie explodes. killer dancehall and GOOD music, wicked backcountry hits (seth's 155 foot double front fuckin killed it) and tanners double backflips are amazingly smooth. overall this movie was incredible and one of the best ski movies ive ever seen. props tanner

i dont know how you found the opening baker segment bad, it was epic but other than that your reveiw was spot on

it was pretty good, but the entire movie was pow, which is too much. i think im the only one tired of bc booters and pow. i want creative park lines. ps. tanners gone crazy, you could call it humble but i see it as just insane

I dunno how you could all tire of seeing epic pow and pillows all movie, but I know i sure loved the whole thing, and didn't miss park for a second.

Amazing movie, good review.

in my opinion skiing pow is the most fun but watching park is a fuck load better than watching pow skiing. i prefer movies that are more park orientated but i like skiing pow more than park.

I dont know if you have seen the movie but the pow riding is soo fun to watch,, it will blow you away.

that was my favorite movie all the 8 i watched at freshtival definitly one to buy

cinamotography was so dope along with teh soundtrack

i din't find the opening segments that bad either

Brilliant Movie.Just the soul ?the essence of skiing in it.No Park.Just crazy and amazing backountry.

IT IS MIND BLOWING.

PROPS TO THE WHOLE CREW!

I thought that it was one of the worst new movies i have ever seen. after seeing idea and how much better Pollard was then Tanners whole crew.

I thought pollard looked the most out of place in that crew.

andy and pep are far far more stylish than him, and actually showed something new.

he just kinda layed in the cut doin shit he did in yearbook. youuuuuuuu dont know what youre talking about.

Look kid, in what way are huge zero spins, sw cork 7's, massive cork 3's, crazy pow lines, nose butters off pilllows etc, out of place in the movie? I thought the most out of place person in IDEA was andy. I havn't seen believe yet but i've heard mixed things about it, I hope to see it soon.

haha. thats like saying

Okay Hitler, more halocaust. Enough with being nice.

WHAT?

Tanner has been riding park and pipe close to his entire career.

that didn't make any sense

just shut up and don't ever make another reference to the holocaust, you just don't know how to make one that makes sense.

If that didnt make sense to you, thats an issue.

Hitler was never a nice guy. He was pretty absorbed in his holocaust and war.

This might be an exaggeration, but i guess you could say thats all he ever did.

Tanner Halls career was pretty stuffed full of park and pipe.

This might be another exaggeration, but i guess you could say thats all he ever did.

That made perfect sense.

I pity you for not having the IQ to make that comparison.

actually it did.

But belive is an amazing film, such sick pow lines. All it needed was more Seth Morrison. I can't wait to watch Idea, should also be a great movie.

i hate watching people ski powder, because i never get to, therefor i dont want to see it in a movie unless they are hitting jumps into it, just plain powder is boring. That goes for big mountain too, it may be sick to do, but to watch its boring.

the bottom line is you shouldn't make analogies about the holocaust. you implying that watching tanner ski park being painful is just so far from the truth, it's what makes it a poor comparison. I personally think he's mediocre at pow, just based on how he skis backseat and his lines never seem that impressive (except that pillow line, but that's way different than a technical line).

and for the person who said pollard was out of place might be right, cause it just shows how much better he is than everyone else, his smooth style and just how comfortable he is in trees, switch, big mountain, and just about anywhere just shows he's still on top, also, you don't see him making those ridiculous hand drags that most people do while landing switch in pow.

What's wrong with you? Do you ski in southern Ontario or something? Powder is the essence of skiing and what everyone strives to ride.

I saw all the new movies at Freshtival this year (and have seen Enjoy). Believe is one of my favourites this year:

- Tanner stepping up big time, shredding serious pow lines and steeps/cliffs at high speed in AK. A few years ago I would've talked trash on Tanner's big mountain skiing but now he is pretty sick. There is one pillow line he does at Mica Heli in BC that is insane long with huge drops and speeds which he totally stomps, probably the sickest pillow line I've seen on film.

- Seth has some good shots, including the 150 foot double front (it is HUGE), I just wish they had multiple camera angles of that hit

- Good soundtrack, reggae, mellow electronic, new wave (Tears for Fears - Shout during AK seg = awesome)

- Japan and Mt Baker pow segments are sooooooo deep and good

- CR (although I think his SSD segment is better).

I rank this years movies like this:

1) Seven Sunny Days (best MSP since Focused), just an overall good MSP style film, bit of comedy, mix of park, pow, the wingsuit is actually entertaining to watch unlike BASE, park followcams rule

2) Believe

3) Lost & Found

4) Enjoy

5) PNW

6) Idea (I love the helmet cam and it has some nice jumps but overall I wasn't that pumped on it)

7) Yeah Dude (some awesome segments like Whistler pow and Durtschi but it felt way too long and too much urban, even though I'm from Calgary I got bored of two full urban segments)

alright, I didn't make sense out of what he was quoting. It was an off day for me but seriously. why the reference to the holocaust. it was unnecessary and a little over the top

the difference between pow and park and mass murdering and well...not mas murdering

that is just a stupid comparison

so don't try and make a quote of my IQ just because something slipped over my head.

i agree, awesome movie. but i disagree that the intro was bad, that sesh was sick. overall a great movie, and i agree again, great music. i'll probably buy it.

that reminds me of him saying on camera something about how the ancestors of skiing were in the powder and hes trying to ski more of it or something? lol
