there have been many posts about tanner being the best, he is very good but the best i don't think so.. i believe he gets to much credit, heres three ligit reasons

1. his big trick has been the switch rodeo for three years straight, hasn't learned any new ones, ex. switch misty, switch d-spin

2. he can't do switch rodeo 9's, whenever he does this 'switch rodeo 9' it's actually just corked, never inverted, check out u.s. open big air

3. he is hypocrite, in a freeze issue last year that was basically an interview with him and raps he said that doing tricks unnatural is very important and that kids should learn a trick natural and unnatural before learning a harder trick, yet he doesn't do a single trick unnatural in any of his movies, not even grinds.

I am not saying he's not a good skier, but that he should be given as much credit as he gets, over people like Olsson, Thovex, Fujas,ect.

hey retard if you kept winning thousands of dollars with a trick would you keep throwing it? So what if hes been throwing switch rodeos, people got to step up and beat him. Also you can't judge a skier by movies, I saw kreitler throwing switch rodeos with style and everyone thought he sucked at jumps because of his movie segments. Tanner with his skills could learn any trick he wanted to in a few days. I have to admit he has a bad attitdue sometimes, but all these Tanner Hall blah blah blah post are getting so old.

ha ha i didn't think you guys would care so much about this thread... i don't even believe or care much about it... the corked switch nine instead of rodeo was more of a commentary on comps in general... i think riders should get credit for what they do, either way, whether the judges and annoucers downgrade or upgrade the trick from what it really is. i think tanners a sick skier and i was wrong about the rail thing but i also believe that he is overshadowing some other skiers who deserve just as much press as him.
