you know, you have a PARK pro model, and are going on your 4th year of having one, goood job

but all you say is, fuck slopestlye. what the fuck. your skis are sick for urban to, but you dont do that(much)

that fuckin pipe cleaner could basically be yours, all you have to put on it is tanner's pipe comp sweeper, because you won everything on it

what i want to see you have is a sick BC pro model. keep the park one. actually just say fuck everyone and take all the models. ANT and JP vs. Julien included

has anyone else felt like this?
 
Armada should just change its name to Tanner Hall Skis INC. and then he can have as many pro models as he wants...

im sure armada figures they'll sell a few pairs of skis based on tanners name alone, and they're probly not gonna sell many rockered BC skis, so might as well put tanners name on their best jib ski that everyone will buy.
 
is it already that time of summer where there are like 10 tanner hall posts at the top of ski gabber?

i see 2 right now, and that sticky that says "teaser call" is pretty close.
 
Tanner has just realized that skiing is more than just park... and i dont blame him. Obviously as a kid he wanted to progress in the park, but now that hes achieved enough to be content, hes moved on to the BC. Am i not the only one who thinks its rad to see guys like Hall hitting big lines and floating in pow? And its not like Hall is ditching the park, I think he just sees more potential for himself in the BC.
 
It was gay when he dissed park skiing. Not all of us have that access so a big fuck you to him.

Anyways, he has good style in powder.
 
You know nothing about marketing do you.

People who buy big mountain skis couldn't care less about the name that is written on it. Models like the THall and the Pipe Cleaner are sold significantly more expensive than is needed and are targeted directly at kids who are sensitive to this kind of marketing. THall to give his name to anything other than Armada's park ski would be a capital mistake, money wise.
 
you mean like Line and pollard............ If a comapny has a good r&d, riders will have input on every ski they ride. I think someone already said it though. T-hall is his promo cause more kids ride park than bc. Its more numbers and sales verse what he rides.
 
Now that I think about it...

I dont think that Rossignol has a pro model ski. At all.

They have Andreas, Candide, Sage, and multiple others that I dont feel like trying to remember. None of them have pro models (although Candide had pro models when he was back at Salomon)

Rossignol has the Bandits.. for directional pow, the BCs, for twin tip pow, and the FSs for park. Then they have the sprayers for affordability and thats about it...

Rossignol does JUST FINE without a pro model ski.
 
actually...... is candide not getting his pro model next year and andreas, the one's that i8van and the other person desgined??
 
Absolutely right, it is just marketing. But i would like to see a BC Tanner Pro, Rockered but not reverse sidecut, like the Hellbent but not so soft, not sure why Armada isnt getting into this market this year.
 
whys everyone hating tanner for riding bc and not park. god damn, can someone support him these days? what the hell is wrong with a guy wanting to ride BC. i dont see anyone hating on seth or jamie pierre cause they dont ride park. what the fuck is up with that. your answer, well its obvois, they dont ride park. Well tanner doesn't wanna ride park anymore, stop being a little bitch and trying to be his mom. let him ski what he wants to ski.
 
peps pro model isn't made for him, he just wanted k2 to develop a park ski that was affordable, but durable and just overall dope.
 
yea but in his old footage he used it alot like 1242 he was ridin fujis for urban and shit, now he just uses the hellbents for park, nothing against him personally, just the same coincidence, oh and it is a great price point ski ive ridden the old red ones and they were the most fun ski ive ever ski'd
 
this is probably the millionth time ive heard someone say that. you shouldnt have made a thread about it because we all know that by now
 
Tanner can do as he pleases...... Plus.... most guys start out park then hit up BC cause it's tight and you can be creative out in the BC.
 
it was made for when he was doing a lot of urbans, a durable and affordble ski, your right in away, but it WAS made for him at one point
 
All of the Create It skis are just special editions and are the same as the BC WRS's. They just have different topsheets. They arent a pro model whatsoever.

And as far as I know, rossignol doesnt have plans for a Candide pro or an Andreas sig ski.

I could be wrong about that, but being that I'm in the industry myself, I would think I'd have heard of such a thing by now. I dont remember anyone talking about it after SIA.
 
New rule: If you can ski better than Tanner, then comment. Otherwise, would you let the man control his own pro model for god's sake?
 
aiight heres the deal

Tanner is a great skier all around and yeah im not gunna lie he kind of pisses me off. But he fucking rips... everywhere. I mean in the "Believe" trailer he is fuckin ripping some of the garliest pillows and lines which is sick.ANd believe guys like tanner and Pep can still ride park... they've just fell in love with good old skiing again. And i dont think anybody on this website (with the exception of other pros) has any right to dis tanner cuz he is 1000000000000000000000000 times better than you and he always will be.
