Tanner hall vs travis rice...

tanner is way fucking better, not taking anything away from travis, but i used to snowboard alot and all the stuff tanner does on skis is way more impressive....no contenst whatsoever
 
would have ot agree with the whole poop yourself thing. But in the movie he doesn't do any rails, which tanner does all the time in his, so its hard to compare. I liked travis's movie better though. A. one of the first that i saw in complete HD (and HD helicopter) B. very cinematic, very artsy shots that looked incredible. but they've both done wonders for the sport, but i think tanner is more of an icon in skiing than travis to snowboarding, just because i dont think travis does olympics or X games (correct me if im wrong) but once i knew about travis he became my idol, so there you have it. MY 2 cents
 
tanner didn't hit one rail in the Massive. it was callum and sean, right? i mean, that weird marble wallride (which technine slayed. put tanner to shame)

and he aired a stair set once..

not that hall can't do rails. it's that they don't really matter to the enjoyability of a film..
 
i just watched the segment, and you were right. he is sick on rails. i like his style alot more than dudemonts.
