Did anyone else catch the interview between "Freeskater" & "XBox" athlete Tanner Hall and Fox Business & Varney and Co's host Charles Payne?

Tanner was very humble, repeatedly dodging the question by Payne to put a number to his income and corrected him saying that it was the "Xgames," not "XBox" that he was well known for.

I'll post a video later if I can find one.

what is it with Fox analysts and wanting to know how much money people make... They don't understand that there is more to life. Good job Tanner

Whats up with skiers getting some lime light action on fox business channel? We obviously don't make a lot of money for them to be intrigued by us. Why don't they go interview shaun white or something.

im not sure fox business is really the "lime light."

im not sure anyone actually watches fox business.

I can see why they wouldn't be the lime light. It is fox news channel basically only with retards talking about money. But still, wasn't dana flahr on there last week with the analylists hounding him with questions about how much money he makes?

I do. And actually Charles Payne is one of the brightest minds in the investment world.

If he screws up Xbox and Xgames, I'm willing to cut him some slack. It's not his world. I'm stoked that Tanner had a chance to do this. I will be looking out for it.

He did an awesome job. The interviewer was clearly unprepared but significantly nowhere near as confrontational as the guy talking to Dana.

Sorry for the double, but I love how later he calls him out on calling it the Xbox games. I thought that was a really good interview. Well said and very concise and modest.

Good job Tanner. Way to represent yourself and the rest of the freeskiing world nobly and humbly

its awesome that he was able to go on the show, but you would think that they would do a bit more research beforehand..

Boom Bomb, stoked how humble and how he handled himself and the fact that they showed a clip of an early Tanner rolling a joint ha ha.

i watched it. Tanner definetly represented not only himself but the skiing community as a whole really well. very humble and a good representation of skiing. loved it

He handled that pretty damn good considering how unprepared the interviewer was.

It sill cracks me up (in a good way) how stoked Tanner always is. . He's a great ambassador for our sport.

In Charles Payne's defense, one of the previous segments had dealt with Microsoft and their move towards possibly taking the company private. One of the talking points was about the XBox and other Microsoft peripherals. It's probably easy to make a slip of the tongue when discussing Xbox & Xgames when he's most likely had no prior experience with them.

Doesn't bother me at all that he botched X-Games for all the reasons previously stated. Props to Tanner for getting that 2014 plug in.

The reporter really wasn't that bad at all. I thought he did a good job actually, given his background and lack of understanding of the sport. Much better than the reporter in the Holmes interview.

But I still LOLed at the shot of him holding a freshly rolled joint on Fox Business.

fine as in big. Tanner told me once that he only smoked blunts [while we blazed paper] /claim.

"This is a message kids need to know!..."

God, Fox New is fucking miserable. How were those shots of GLen Plake playing next to tanner from the film for 10 or 15 seconds... People were probably like, 'Tanner's hair is long when he doesn't have a hat on. '

Fox Business Channel, why would you go on that and not talk about money? Its not like its a hardcore ski channel, its a channel about making money. Go on fuel if you want to be humble. From a business perspective that was a total fail because the people listening are people that want to know about the sport economically. Big chance to bring in more money really. Tanner just doesnt want to say he makes a mil a year.
