definitly, its so laid out and stylish, and on the topic of double flips in believe seth's 150 foot double front is absolutly insane
 
Tanner is an amazing skier he has been around for ever it seems he like a veteran to the sport hes an awesome all around skier as well
 
Tanner's more steezy and Jesus ain't sponsored by RedBull, Oakley, AND Armada... just RedBull cause it gives you wiiings.
 
this past fall i met tanner at a skatepark, and he diddn't come off as a douche to me, he just acts thug. but then again, so does almost every kid on this site... but seriously, he seemed like a chill guy, pretty laid back and stoned. guy kills it everywhere too, it is preposterous to say he shouldn't be in the backcountry.
 
this thread baffles me. tanner hall is currently the best all around skier and can conquer any type of skiing with minimal time to learn how.
 
Tanner halls is a pimp. you can't bash on someone who has done as much for the sport as tanner hall just because hes getting older and he feels like bopping around the BC

you cant hate on tanner for rippin up back country he may be labeled a dick by some people but when you can ski like him maybye your ego will be a bit bigger
 
yeah, not the best example... i think that even those of us who like the graphics still look at them and think "what the fuck???" only we laugh about it after we think that and just go with it instead of hating on them. if you know what you're talking about and appreciate good skiing, you can't argue with Tanner when he's on snow, it just isn't debatable. those graphics on the other hand... still very debatable.
 
The great Tanner Hall Debate is back, I am so glad it is back, I missed you so much.

He kills BC and Pipe and Park. He is an all around great skier. I hate to claim but at the Boston Believe Permier, some kid asked him all about skiing BC, he said there is no bigger rush then looking down or out on top of a mountain and not know where you are going to go. Not seeing anything. Then he states when he is at the top of the Pipe he can see everything, it is still a rush but not as much. Fuck it man, again isnt skiing about having fun getting that rush.
 
tanner is dope.

i cant get why people hate on him so much, skiing wouldnt be the same if we didnt go out into the BC every once in a while, and only limited ourselves to the park. there is another world outside of it
 
WHat negative image does he bring to the sport? The fact he listens to hiphop? You lame, plus you live in London? Get the fuck outa here, go ski some fucking dryslope in the middle of the country.
 
I think tanner has as much of a right to ski pow and big mountain as anyone, and i think hes sick at bc freestyle, however i think he ends up just looking like a punter which he skis lines, similar to watching a racer ski park in a catsuit, he can ski lines but he still skis like a park rat, an i thought it just made him look a bit deluded when in show n prove he had a section with seth, which made him look like a little girl.
 
tanner is one of the best skiers ever. He's been around since the very beginning, he is just rediculously innovative, and just an insaaane!!!!!!skier....after how long he's been around, how much he's done, compititions he's won, rediculous movie segments of his. Tanner should be allowed to shred wherever the fuck he wants and not get hated on for it. He's an amazing skier, in the park, pipe, and backcountry.
 
man Believe was by far te sickest movie I've seen so far this year, his steeze in the backcountry is unlike anything I've evr seen. The two double back flips he throws in that movie are just out of this world, who cares if he is a dick or whatever, the man shreds and that is all there is to it. Go burn a fatty spliff, watch that movie and your opinion on Tanner will be changed forever.
 
word up dude, Tanner has pushed this sport farther than basically anyone. He's done his own thing and pushed the envelope in the direction that he wanted. Sure, he's had a few slip ups from time to time, like that bar incident or the IF3 thing, but whatever, he's the best rounded skier out there right now

i know u usually see him in the park but before he was pro he skiied a lot of pow

I agree. I think he's a great skier, def better than me, but for some reason he's not my favorite. for me, its about the attitude and overall feeling that people bring to the sport. I dont get the same vibe from tanner as i do say, pollard or fujas or sammy carlson...

but thats whats nice about a free country. everyone can have their own opinion.
 
t-hall is the best most rounded skier on the planet. watch his newsest flick believe and you will believe. this kid doesnt lack in any part of his game.

tell me another skier who could shred up in rellatack at the highest level, airing tech tricks onto sick faces then pick up head to CO and win x-games gold?

you cant and never will be able to compete with that kind of natural talent.

i love how your saying how bad hate has become in skiing 406 and then you call me all theses names even after i clearly said i was wrong and after watching believe i saw how amazing t hall is in pow skiing, way to be man.
 
well maybe anyone that posts should look at my thread "i stand corrected" and you will see that i watched believe and i did in fact change my mind.
 
Doesnt matter where you ski, he is a sick skier. What the difference between a 60 ft kicker in the park vs. a backcountry 60 ft. hit? they are both so sick
