His pipe run was better than dumonts, probably should have won as well.

And no, I'm not some person who thinks that Tanner is the shit and should just win everything automatically. I'd rather see people win instead of him and get some spotlight, he just outperformed everyone else in the x games.

I didn't get to see it live so I only caught the top 3. Jon's run was so incredibly smooth. I loved how he constantly mixed it up between left and right side spinning.

It's a tough call for me, but I personally would've given the win to Tanner just a hair over jon. But Jon definitely deserved 2nd, if not higher.

that's bullshit. In no way did dumont do a first place run. He was all over the place.

Plus dumont did 2 straight airs.

A 20+ foot hit at the top may be sick, but it does not at all make up for the lack of technical tricks in the rest of the run. That is bullplop on the part of the judges.

also, Gagnier deserved that win, i don't think that should be debated. i still think Tanner put his hands down on his sw 10.

but ya, if you watch that video, watch Jon's second run, not his first which he got bronze with. if he had landed his sw 10 at the end i think he could've won.

 
So he put his hands down, so did gagnier. Gagnier landed pretty far forward, not perfectly.

Gagnier didn't do switch corked 10.

Gagnier didn't nollie lipslide the top rail.

Gagnier didn't 450 into the other rail, 270 out.

The only part that tanner should have lost points was that he reverted after the 450 on 270 out.

Clearly the run of the weiner, but still didn't win.

HAHA. Backslide a more technical trick... good one.

A backslide on a steep down rail is about as easy as a normal slide. You just don't put one foot on. If you go fast enough, you're barely even putting weight onto the rail.
