Tanner hall is original

Tanner's the man, he can throw down anywhere. There is no reason to talk trash about his skiing.

dude tanner halls good but hes so stupid and full of himself, like look atthe beginning of his segment in yearbook? hes stupid

I'm going to have to say he is the most well rounded skiier in the sport. He's sick in every aspect of the sport. Park, pipe, backcountry, urban; it doesn't matter for him him. He's rediculously good. You can hate him all you want for trying to be a thug, but he has proven to throw down in every aspect of our sport.

He always steps up to the plate with anything that ever faced him.

Haha, I wouldn't doubt it if he accepted bode's challenge and tried to ski a downhill course on 210's.

at least they wear bggy pants only to ski..not for everyday life. and neither of them are as wiggertastic as tanner

Tanner Hall is an incredibably remarkable skier, and should be admired by everyone for at least his skiing ability, even if you disagree with the way he presents himself. There's really not much more to it than that.

First of all, a nollie is where you flex and pop off the tips (nose) of your skis onto a rail. A cruton or tanner grab is double grab combining a critical (inside edge safety) and japan (inside edge of opposite ski behind extended leg).

Second, Abma simply isn't as good an all-around skiier as Tanner. Sure, he can ski big mountain, but he can't do Pipe or rails even close to Tanner's level. He doesn't podium in most contests - unlike Tanner. His control in the air just isn't on the same level as Hall, Gagnier, Olsson, Rainville, Fujas, Wester, Thovex, etc....

Hall does some stupid things - getting arrested, dissing Bode and Daron publicly, and just acting so over-the-top all the time....Hopefully, he's maturing past all of it after his injury. He seemed real cool in his interview on Pop Yer Bottlez.

But anyway, he's too good at skiing for me not to be a fan of him. I hope he shows up to Pipe because that "Best Trick" contest was in serious need of his talents. His grabs are some of the best out there, his style in the air is so smooth, and his rail skills are ridiculous.

He is without a doubt the best all-around freestyle skiier right now - name another pro who can win Pipe, Slopestyle, and Big Air comps with the regularity he does. And it sucks that his ankles hurt whenever he lands a big jump. Hopefully, this season is better for him than last year's.

All-around is not the same as freestyle. T-Hall is an amazing freestyle (park, pipe, big air) skier, he is not an amazing all around skier. If you watch footage of him in real terrain (Yearbook, TBC) he isn't a strong skier. I'd put Abma, Sage, Pollard, Fujas and Henrik Windstedt ahead of him in terms of overall. Maybe not all of those guys are as technically good jumping, but they are all better skiers.

I agree wiht you. I thought the person above meant overall freestyle skiier. Maybe not though.

Tanner looks pretty skiing backcountry in Session 1242.

I think Pep and Windsetdt are the best all-around skiiers if you're including big mountain skills.
