How were tanner's rails that much more tech than Gagnier's? Charles did the 1 foot on the rail to a 270 on. Tanner did a regular slide to a 450/270 out. There isn't a big enough difference in that to justtify a 9 beating a 10 on the same jump. Tanner's run was great, but Gagnier's was just better. Charles spun both ways back to back, then stomped the switch 10 at the bottom.

 
word...especially in the first round, there was no way that tanner's run deserved to put him that far in first in my opinion. i thought the judging definitely favored t-hall so i was stoked to see that a better run--gagnier's run--got a better score. tanners run was sick for sure, but charles's was simply better in my opinion. mad props to his slopestyle domination!

tanner's my winner too....but gangier was dope fer sure. Everyone was so fuckin good. Dumont, Schiller, Vanular, all had amazing runs, the competition was nuts

charle was more cretive, he had the nose grab, the one foot n hell he was spinnig in all 4 directions, tanner was solide but with nothing new, i think taht made the deference

RU kiddin me tanner wasnt even close to the style and presence that Charles had. He went bigger ,cleaner, he held his grabs longer his landings were smoother and he sure as hell didnt have to put his hand to the snow on his 1080 i think u overlook that it really wasnt close!

Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.

if you watch both tanner and gagnier's runs, you will see that thought tanner and charles pulled similar tricks and tanner's rails were SLIGHTLY better. both riders put their hands down on the money booter, but it was gagnier who landed much more cleanly on the upper hits where as tanner barely cleared some of the hits and didn't land as cleanly. personally i think both runs were scored a little high since jon's first run was sick, but i def think that gagnier's run was better, albeit it only slightly better.

 
gagnier had the better run. They both did the same trix abut gagnier stomped them all better and tanner had the 450 on and 270 off the down rail while gagnier had the one footed and i cant remember the other one

I respect tanners technical 450/270 and not wanting to 1080 so he could cork out the 9 BUT

Gangier is my winner and the winner not because of the 10 but because of his style for me personally it is untouchable.

Tanner is the best historically but charles goes out of his way to make is style totally unique and it worked. PROPS

The americans are being overtaken and it is sad.

 
Yeah, as much as I don't like him, I think CR got robbed...but I was amazed that gagnier got the win, being the last run, with a very similar run than tanner...I thought the judges would just give it to tanner.

We'll have you dead pretty soon.
