Tanner Hall Freesking Game

It'll be fun for sure. But I just can't imagine a skiing app for a phone being anything more than a gimmick (It's a phone app for fucks sake). Most of us on NS aren't super hardcore gamers but we all want a simulation game where we have full control of the skier. Something that normal gamers would find annoyingly hard to play. That's the reason why we're not going to have a real skiing game anytime soon like Skate or Amped 2. There just isn't a big enough market yet. Maybe after the Olympics, but I doubt it.
 
meh, better than nothing i suppose. i got excited whilst reading the thread title, thinking it would be a console game. Ah well, ill still be getting it. inb4 jib life release
 
If you go onto the acctual website you can sign up for the beta game so you can test it before its released! seems ok for an ipod game, better than nothing!
 
this would be so dope to have a good skiing game, and not just snowboarding games. it would be sick if it was for 360 and ps3 though.
 
don't want to be cynical but my guess is that its probably just gonna end up being another MyTP/Jibbin kind of game but with half-pipe. hope I'm wrong tho

Man way to get my hopes up and then crush them! a frickken app?? I've been waiting for a ski game for consoles for soooo long. they made shaun white snowboarding, but theres absolutely no ski games at all.
 
He should make a B&E game for consoles and ipods. Like park and urban. And you can be either E-Dollo or B-dog, or make your own guy.

someone just needs o take the basics of shaun white snowbding, put in skiing, get rid of the focus crap, and add real mountains.

the graphics are pretty good and the controls are pretty sweet with grabs, tweaks, and butters.
 
I think everyone should download this game regradlesss of how good its gonna be, the more sales it has the more likley it is too influence real game developers to make a serious console game
 
you are soooooo right ... but i think making a realistic ski game is more difficult than making a realistic skateboard game ... however they have to try it
