Tanner Hall - competing in slope style

I'd like to be proved wrong but I doubt he'll have the slopestyle run he'll need to beat the top slope rider.

I guess it all depends on how much time he spend in the park instead of bc.

Same feeling the rest of the golfers are going to have when Tiger comes back? I think so.

maybe, maybe not, but i am still stoked just to see him ride in xgames again...but i hope he does good

If Gagnier beats him with a 1 foot again then I will make it rain whiskey in the streets.

But seriously, even though Tanner is some how liked by NS now, he doesn't have the caliber of tricks needed to win. You really think this year he could beat Hatveit's run last year?

No.

meh, there's still gangier, jossi, and jon. and vanular's coming back too...too bad andreas is hurt, he is insane, there is almost no trick that's beyond him, and if there is he'll learn it.

I agree that he will not be putting enough time into slopestyle to win it, but there have been a lot of reasons to like tanner hall lately, he has done more than just about any other pro to connect with the skier community, even if he is a bit of a rasta goofball~

Awesome, I can't wait to se what he puts together for his JOSS edit, and his slopestyle run. They needed him to compete after Andreas got hurt. There should be more views with a big name like Tanner's.

YEAH!

I'm soo pumped for the upcoming competition scene. Especially the Dew tour, which hopefully is going to be sick!

I hate to jump on the sack riding wagon, but I respectfully disagree. Tanner Hall has shown that above and beyond everything else, when he wants something, he goes and gets it.

His talent level is above and beyond anyone elses, and he will come through as always. If not first, he will undoubtedly podium if he finishes a run cleanly.

This. If he really wants to win and trains for it like he has for pipe, I would have a hard time betting against him.

I'm surprised by the lack of faith in Tanner's slopestyle ability. Only time will tell. I for one imagine Tanner FTWs

i have no doubt he will be competitive, just not the dominate self he was before...though espn likes to run with stories like this, so expect to see lots of hype about it.

The comp circuit is going to be mad this year, everyone is killing it and everyone is part of the Dew Tour. So stoked for the Breck dew stop it is going to be mad.

I wonder what he'll get in his JOSS goodie bag?

its gonna be sick! and didnt jossi compete in slopestyle last x? he came in 2nd didnt he, or was it big air? can't remember...

ZOMGZOMGZOMGZOMGZOMG EPICEPICEPICEPICEPICEPICEPICEPICEPICPIEC ZOMGZOMGZOMGZOMGZOMGZOMG hihi i love this ZOMGZOMGZOMGZOMG

hahaha took the words right out of my mouth, i can't wait for tiger to come back so my interest in watching the PGA returns, but Tanner making a slope comeback is pretty damn baller...

i have to agree with ced on this one i'm just as stoked as everyone else but it's just un realistic for tanner to come back and win slope with out training hard for it like everyone else does early season, however if early season he does train for slope then that's a different story and if he can win slope with out training super hard for it then more power to him he would solidify himself as the best all around skier

He is going to have a hard time winning without hucking spins above ten or double flipping.

Oh wait, even though he has denounced both those, he will be doing at least 1 of them. Transfer that ungrabbed 12 from the pipe last year to slope and he has it sown up. He could totally defeat Chris Hawks at the 1999 US Open big air.
