Tamron 24-70 2.8

Seriously thinking about getting this lens. Anybody wanna give me a reason to save up more and get the Canon L lens?

Shoot on 60D

Eventually gonna upgrade to full frame

70/30: photo to video

Any other things that relate to this lens, much appreciated.

 
I know aj uses the tamron 28-85 lens a lot for 4bi9/iridepc edits. Do they even make a 24-70?
 
I had no idea Tamron made a 24-70.

I know that Sigma does, and it's an at least serviceable option.. but the only Tamron fast zooms I've heard of are the 28-75 f2.8 and the 28-105 f2.8.

All the reviews i have seen of this has been glowing. I think some if them compares the iq to the canon 24-70l version 1 and with this one you have the advantage of IS. Keep in mind that I have no personal experience whatsoever
