Tall Hoodie size

Okay, perhaps the thread title looks really common but here's my problem/ question.I made my home made hoodie and it reaches my knees, slightly above the knee, like 1cm. I find it really really long.. Perhaps you know better than me, a hoodie should arrive at mid thigh right ?
