Tall beanies, new trend?

Ok i know like everyone on NS wears as well as other park skiers and snowboarders but im talking about normal non-snow sport people. Around my school( poeple who i know dont ski or board) and town i have seen a suprisisng number of people rocking them.

this happening around you guys too?
 
You just noticed? I'm pretty sure tall beanies have been popular for a few years....
 
i know! i was wearing my toque normal fit so it was nice and snug and didn't look goofy, and my friend was like "you wear your toque funny, shouldn't you wear it kinda loose so that it's baggy?" i said, no, i like it this way, and she says "well that's not the cool thing these days" as if i gave a fuck what anyone else thinks when i'm just tryna keep my noggin warm.
 
well not in my area. I have noticed some artsy people wearing them around for a while but like yesterday i weant to the mall and saw quite a few people rocking them. I was in shock.
 
haha im pretty sure a homeless dude in my hometown has been rocking tall beanies for years, maybe even a decade?
 
she doesn't dress like that actually, she's kinda hesh (snowboarder). well not really, she's kinda like me, just dresses in what she likes, which is why i was so baffled by her statement about my hat.

i would've cunt punted any other woman though haha
 
the worst are the girls who wear the eggsacks back on their heads even though they don't have dreads.
 
I haven't seen anyone at my school wearing hats yet, but i'm freezing my ass off these days. I need to get some new beanies.

Anyone have any tips for a norwegian guy on where to buy them in the US? I can't buy stuff online atm...
 
toque, toque, toque, toque, sorry had to get it out of my system. Now for the point, not so much here yet, a few guys are rocking em but it is not everywhere yet, people still seem to be on the whole wee visor toques.

i see a good 10-20 new people each day walking around the halls wearing skullcandys. and my school is in ohio! What ever, i got them all beat with their lowriders and icons, im repping the skullcrushers mutha truka!

sorry i got off tangent, but i hate it when i see styles strictly from the slopes come onto school/public areas.
 
i also prefer toque as it is a toque because i think ( i might be very wrong so dont flame) us canadians invented them.

i just dont call them that on here for the sake of the americans who will be like " wtf is a toque"
