so my friend is looking for a ski for next year. he is tall as shit so he's looking for something bigger than 182. we ski at park city so a lot of jumps and some jibs. last year he had the arV 184 (or something close to that size) so i guess he wants a ski that can shred anything but still slay park. he has his eye on the alpha 1 or the 4frnt click.
i told him to look into dynastar superpipes or coreupt tj pros but he is open to any suggestions anyone might have so please post any skis for tall people that can handle really anything

^yeah, 186 reno jibs came to mind. They should be sick.. another thing he could do is get a ski like shoguns. 191 shoguns still have full effective edge when rolled over, but won't catch up on take offs like a cambered(shoguns are flat underfoot and low profile rocker) 191 would. won't be too soft either.

I heard the 186 walls really only measure out to like 181 anyway though. Just heard it from a guy on a chairlift though, but he was like 40 and had brand new pipe cleaners, he was obviously one of those old guys way too into gear, so i believed him.

I really like my obSETHeds. I use them in the park a fair bit and haven't had any issues with them at all, theres some minor things like it's slightly harder to spin with and other stuff but overall it's a really nice ski. I think he might also want to check out the '10 extremes, this is because all of the K2 skis that I've measured are about 5 cms longer than they claim. I'm also about 6'7.5 btw.

UPDATE my friend is 6' 3" (sorry to everyone who researched tall as shit as an actual height) and he is looking for a park specific ski so no seths or anything of that nature just a park ski in general

At 6'3 a 182 isn't too bad, its really just about right. If he's looking into Alpha 1s, I'd highly recommend them, they are a really sick ski.

hmm well i am 6'5 so two inches taller than him and i ride the 181 line chronics, 181 armada T Halls and am picking up some 182 Alpha 1's. So he can go with any of those aformentioned options and they will work out for him.
