Talking to friend in her sleep...

Alright so I have this friend named Sam and she sleep talks, but not only does she sleep talk you can hold a conversation with her while she is asleep. Last week we went on a trip from PA to mississippi, so the car ride was damn long. whenever she falls asleep and starts having a dream, she starts talking about it and we can then start talking back to her. its so weird because she claims to only remember up to where the dream stopped when we started talkign to her and then it goes blank. one time we even got her to cry by telling her that her sister was eaten by a monkey who had a peanut (no joke, she is allergic to peanuts so she couldnt save her sister) well on the trip she fell asleep numerous times. she will sing for us, tell us stories, and even tell us stuff about her and her boyfriend that she sure as hell would never tell us awake. it is so weird and i was wondering if anyone else on NS knows someone who does this. oh we also have videos of her singing peanut butter jelly time that i think will be uploaded to youtube soon enough and if they do ill post it on here.
 
like i said, theres like 3 people who recorded it but i wasnt one of them, ill ask them tonight to put it up on youtube and ill let you guys know.

lol oh its so true, we do it everytime she falls asleep and it happens. the toher story i meant to tell was on our way home yesterday, she fell asleep laying across a full seat and all of a sudden she started kicking and yelling ramdom nonsense that nobody could understand. she started to calm down so my friend took a banana and started poking her feet saying that a bird was trying to get her. she started flailing and kicked on of my friends in the chest which was pretty funny, then he said it was a hornet trying to sting her and she started kicking again and kicked the seat so hard she screamed and woke up because she stubbed her toe when she did it. she asked us what the fuck happened and we told her, and she said she was having a dream that some guy was forcing her to play soccer and said hed kill her if she didnt kick the ball (which explains the kicking in the first place) needless to say trips with her are quit amusing.
 
I cant converse with people but I do scream my ass off and run around and shit about once a week and it scares my parents
 
Sounds like someone is using a pretty retarded tactic to say things or ask questions she doesnt want to ask normally, lol.

That way you cant think bad of her for saying or asking weird or bad things, because she was 'asleep'. Convenient, I should try it some time..
 
Aw I wish I knew someone like that. I had a conversation with a friend in her sleep once, but I was so sleepy i can't remember what happened.
 
I've slept with my eyes open. The best part was that we were driving to Colorado and my sister was sitting next to me and getting really freaked out, but didn't want to wake me up because she thought I'd get pissed.
 
AS far as i know, you dont talk while you are dreaming, especially in REM sleep becasue your body encounters sleep paralysis. Usually when people talk in thier sleep its just unintentional venting.
 
I had a real vivid dream last night. Well two actually, but they kinda merged.

1 - I was snowboarding (as opposed to skiing) and there were 6 people following me and snaking all over the place, and I didn't like my jacket at didn't want to stop in case i couldn't get going again.

2 - I was in the army and getting picked on by everything for sharing a room with a guy, who then switched to the navy so we wouldn't get any shot anymore.

I love dreams - always have the best after a few beers.
 
i had a wierd one too, i was also snowboarding instead of skiing and was practicing underflips and shit liek that and all of a sudden hulk hoagans at the mountain so they had to close the jumps then i got wicked pissed and threw my board at him and he died so then i was put in jail, then i woke up wicked cool
