If it wasnt the Canadians why were the so many "Canadian Regiments"? and militia units?and indians(oviously of british decent)?the canadians oviously jst sat there and watched ppl fight for there doorsteps?? the only campaigne that didnt have too much canadian involvment was when the british empire invaded New Orleans from the South. WE defended our country with the aid of the british empire, because u guys got greedy and wanted beatiful canada to become a state

i like you. you're funny, in a sad kind of way.
the War of 1812 did nothing, the treaty that ended it returned everything to how it was before the war. People complain about the Iraq War being useless, the War of 1812 was useless and the only reason the Battle of New Orleans was fought was because communication was so slow because the treaty to end it had already been signed.
